I have ALWAYS gotten the most CARING, COMPASSIONATE, and PROFESSIONAL medical attention from Dr. Carol and Dr. Luther, as well as Nurse Kristi. My favorite thing about this doctors office is that these are two doctors who truly CARE about all their patients, and they do everything they can to make sure you are getting the best medical care possible. A husband and wife team running this practice helps fill it with love and heart, keeping the family in "family practice". This practice IS very busy, because they are so good that they keep a lot of loyal patients, and I have never had a rushed interaction when being seen in a room by the doctor. When patients are asked "why are you here today?", it is actually a standard question every doctor SHOULD be asking, designed to VERIFY why you are being seen that day, as well as make sure you have no new additional medical complaints. I have been appalled with all of the horrible things that I've had to deal with through AdventHealth especially at the Primary Care Physician level. From inappropriate co-pays that are charged to the level of intelligence of the staff, especially at the clinical level in Volusia County Florida. I actually had worked for AdventHealth at one time in my career and can't believe that the Volusia County locations have such inept people working within their offices from office staff up to the clinicians. I've also had issues with the neurology department in Orlando. My first visit to that location had the most screwed up notes for my first appointment!! From totally inappropriate information to misspellings and of course they charged me a co-pay that was inappropriate and then it took me months to get it taken off of my bill!! I am so disappointed in AdventHealth and honestly I DO NOT want to use them, but unfortunately I am almost forced to do so where I live right now because most of the smaller Primary Care and even specialty offices have been absorbed by the AdventHealth system, which is HORRIBLE!!! The only other option is Halifax Hospital system and they're worse than AdventHealth!! I recently reported the Primary Care office in Port Orange for a bunch of inappropriate behavior they put me through when the recent Cyclospora outbreak occurred. I spent two days trying to get somebody to help me because I had the condition and I ended up having to go to the health department because AdventHealth failed on every level with trying to help me get Care during that !! When I sent a grievance into my insurance provider about EVERYTHING I WENT THROUGH the follow up letter from my insurance company, stated COMPLETE AND TOTAL LIES from the Primary Care Office!! Did this surprise me???....NO!!! On the contrary, this is the typical behavior of this entire healthcare system!!! They couldn't even take responsibility for all of their mistakes, which tells me that this organization does not put the patient first they just run by the old "cover your ass routine!!" I have finally found a Primary Care office that is not affiliated with AdventHealth - THANK GOD!!.... U fortunately, many of the Primary Care offices, have been absorbed by Advent Health so many of you out there are screwed because you have to use them and all I can tell everyone is just scrutinize everything that they do because they are inappropriately charging co-pays and their clinical staff are extremely subpar so you really need to look out for yourself and advocate otherwise you are not receiving the proper care that you should be receiving!! Don't let the size of the institution and their marketing fool you!! The system is EPICALLY FLAWED in so many areas!!! I am ashamed to even say that I used to work for them!!! My best advice to everyone out there is if you can find a doctor that is not affiliated with AdventHealth, you're way better off with regard to level of care AND billing!! My appointments are only to get medicine refills and should be very short but have never been shorter than 1.5 hours (that's on a good day!!) and 99% of that time is the wait time in the office. My time is just as valuable as the staff here- they need to work on time/appointment management.

He listens and asks all the right questions, never in a rush and explains everything thoroughly. He explains how he reached his conclusions and provides a detail outline of several optional treatments. Definitely time well spent, seeing him. Also offers virtual consultations, if you opt to do so. One more thing I like about him? Doesnt send you to a lot of unnecessary test. I consider myself fortunate to be his patient.
