We set an appointment and they mailed me paperwork to fill out and bring with us to the appointment. I was quoted a total of $425 for the appointment. The waiting room was empty and we waited for only about 5 minutes or so before being called by the tech for measurement tests. She was friendly and professional. Once in the exam room, Dr. Powell entered and greeted us. She has a terrible bedside manner! My son is 18 and virtually blind in his left eye. Dr. Powell gave no direction other than to continue to tell my son "this will go a lot faster if you keep your eye open!" She continued to bark that at him until getting up and walking out of the room, saying nothing else. After a few minutes, Dr. Rosner came in and was immediately friendly and much more patient. She was able to explain to my son the result she was looking for and wanted to try again. She provided him directions that helped him keep his eye open. She was very informative! Dr. Rosner had a vastly different, positive attitude from what was experienced with Dr. Powell! Eye exams can be very stressful for some and that should be recognized and treated accordingly. Dr. Rosner suggested my son have his pressure retested in about 6 months. I asked the scheduler when Dr. Rosner would be working as we wanted to see her and was told she's usually at their Pasadena location. We'll be going to that location from now on!

I was seeing great after Lasik surgery but I am mediately noticed that my right I was now blurry. Not to mention it turned very red. So without an appointment I went over to see my doctor because I figured this was an emergency. I get there at 1:15 PM. I was ready to get some rude behavior from the front desk because I was coming in without an appointment. However, I was shocked that they were still very pleasant. Bad news was that my doctor was not in this office today. Brain fart on my part. I guess I should have called first. He was in the Pearland office. They gave me a choice of seeing the doctor that was there today or going to the other office. I was much more freaked out than I am right now writing this review. That's why I decided to go to the other office. It took me about half an hour to get there so I arrived a little bit before 2 o'clock. Began getting braced for some rude behavior but likely this did not come. I talked with Elizabeth at the front desk and she could clearly see how frazzled I was. She was able to fit me in but told me there would be some wait. No surprise there. It was 230 before anybody could take me back in. Amy was very understanding. The doctor did smiled when he heard my story but no embarrassing laugh. I appreciated the understanding because I was already quite embarrassed. I did have some information at the side of the surgery but nothing that was going to damage my eye leave me blind. Too bad I could have suit the restaurant. Just kidding. Ha ha. It's been 3 to 4 days and I feel like my vision is back to the way it was before. I wanted to write this review because I've always been to the Sugarland office before. But I was so pleased with how the staff handled to me here in this office. It's a little bit further away for me. But the office is not as busy as the sugar land office and though they do a great job over there, I feel there's just a little bit more of a relaxed pace over here. It's been a pleasant experience from the first day I picked up the phone to call and ask questions from CINDY. Everyone was really kind and caring which made me feel really comfortable . Dr. Scott Segal is a professional at what he does and he was very kind, informative, and caring. I did thorough research into who I should pick to go with for my lasik surgery and I'm glad to have picked him. I'm currently recovering from the procedure and it seems to be going great. Dr. Scott also gave me his personal number in case I have any questions or concerns. All information regarding financing, prescriptions, and scheduling were easy to follow. It took them 45 minutes to figure out my prescription and it seemed like nobody knew what was going on in there. They hand me trial contacts say the lady at the front will tell you prices don't even say which contact is for what eye or what my final prescription is. I told the doctor my left eye still looked blurry and he tells me I have 2020. 0/10 would not recommend unless you want to be scammed out of your money! I wish there was negative stars. Missed work to be on time for my appointment just to watch the wait room fill up twice and empty before I was seen.

I have been going to her for about five years now and she seems to always remember you and is very good at answering any questions you may have. The office is run very efficiently, with helpful and friendly staff members, and I've never had a wait of more than a few minutes from my appointment time. They are also very good at fitting you in if you have an issue. I have accidently scratched my cornea twice, which can be extremely painful, and they always fit me in right away to check my eyes and prescribe medication and the problem was resolved within a day or two both times. I highly recommend Dr. Tran and TranVision Eye Care.
