Hurricane Hilary & an earthquake? No problem! James and Danny were fantastic to work with for decor and DJ. We had some last minute shuffling due to the unexpected tropical storm, and a power outage for the second half of the reception. Despite those hurdles, the party went on, the space looked beautiful, and Danny kept the guests dancing on the dance floor. If you want someone who is a professional as well as highly personable, James is your man! From the beginning, James made my wife and I feel so much at ease. On the rehearsal day, he did a great job in leading us on how the ceremony and reception will be coordinated. He was also very organized in explaining what will be happening next and what music will be played. Anyone who has planned a wedding knows that things just pop up and sometimes you have to scramble and think on your feet. What I love is that James was right in there helping out where he can and was able to work really well during those hectic times by kindly offering us suggestions and helping to get people together. James With Coastal Events provided the DJ'ing services for my wedding two weeks ago on 8/25/17, he set up sound systems for the ceremony area, cocktail area, & the reception area in our venue & it was absolutely flawless. The sound quality on the mic's & speakers was very clear no feedback whatsoever even though every part of our event was out doors. He worked super well with our photographer and videographers to make sure everything was captured perfectly. He also set up lighting for us in the reception area and it looked awesome! I 100% without a doubt would recommend his services to everyone. We hired James for indoor and outdoor bistro lighting at our wedding in September. He was extremely responsive and professional, and answered all of our questions. He also checked in regularly to see if there was anything else we needed. He was able to answer all of the questions that our venue had as far as set up, and they appreciate his quick and detailed responses.
