The staff were extremely nice and friendly! They were accommodating to walk in like us and gave us instructions on how and where to drive. DO NOT DRIVE ON THE MAIN STREET (BROADWAY) lol. You will need your DL and insurance policy number for the rental. The vintage whip was fun to drive while feeling the island breeze. It can definitely get bumpy; at times, I felt like I was driving a school bus lol. But this was absolutely a fun and pleasure! Highly recommend. I also think it's affordable, $60 for 1 hour, that was all we needed. We spent time at the Seawall too.

Got 2 hours for 80$ which was a deal compared to the other rental places around. We rented out a 6 seater which was perfect for the fam bam. The max speed was 35mph so there were a few streets that was off limits due to minimum speed of 40mph or above, a map was provided to show the restrictions. A lot of Galveston Island could still be occupied with the golf cart. We stayed mostly on Seawall (street by the ocean) as it was the most scenic route to us. Must drive on the right side as that is the slow lane. Our cart had a newly placed speaker that had bluetooth capability and we really enjoyed bumping our tunes. The whole family enjoyed the ride and definitely marks a memory for a different experience. When we returned the cart, we wanted to purchase a funnel cake but they said the kitchen was closed. A worker came out and offered us an order of deep fried Oreos (6 came in an order) for free since someone didn't pick it up, and they were delicious! Thanks for the great service! Will keep this spot in mind if we return!

Didn't mention the roughness out of inexperience with golf cart. The one night we took it out, the lights didn't work. Called and they replaced the next day. New Cart was great and we realized the roughness experienced was not us but the cart. Asked for a one day extension due to issues. Was told we could have it for 94 dollars. We didn't report problem early enough. Wow! We asked for a ONE day extension. How frustrating! Never again. We will rent from someplace else next year as we come down every year.

Either way, no one gets back to you. The place itself is worn down, didn't have much of rentals as far as we could see. After two days of trying to give them our money, we gave up and went to another spot 4 miles up the road. They got us set up in minutes with delivery. Not sure if K6 is shut down for the season or just doesn't care- but either way, don't waste precious vacation time here. Do not recommend.

So basically they realized they could jack up the price for the walk-ins on the holiday weekend so they overbooked. Their excuse was that a third party books the carts online, and it's out of their control; however, the number goes straight to their shop. The bottom line... scammersare trying to exploit on a holiday weekend.
