Best tea room in Arundel! If you're looking for a cream tea, or a cake and tea variation, then…read moreabsolutely go here. It's by far and away the best. The cakes are to die for and you get the biggest slices ever! And a hefty pot of tea to boot in some funky porcelain. There were about 10-12 different types of dead fresh and massive cakes and a great selection of teas and coffees and other things. The guy inside immediately offered to move a table outside so we could sit in the sun (as the other tables were full) and the lady serving us was lovely and very helpful. It's ever so slightly more modern than a few of the other tea shops in Arundel, but by no means loses its charm. It's just a little more fresh and clean, and the food quite a bit better.

Love the "odds n' bods" crockery...really fascinating. They certainly know how to make you feel welcome, in addition to producing scrumptious cakes, ( no good for your waist line at all )..!! They also know how to make a good cup o' tea...probably the coffee is just as good. Prices are comparable, possibly slightly less than other tea rooms in the area. Staff are exceptional in their customer relation attitudes, and are to be complimented on their friendly and charming ways. Thank you...I will be back..

Coffee @ 33 - Perfect coffee with the perfect pastry to go with it! I cannot remember the name of the pastry but it contained coconut, dates and apples.

Now this is real coffee! I'm by no means a coffee connoisseur, but this coffee tastes incredible. I…read morealways say I'm happy with an instant coffee and, to be honest, can never really taste the difference, but after my trip to Coffee @ 33 I feel like that's all about to change... The coffee I had was strong and flavoured like none I had ever had before - sharp, but not too bitter. Sweet, but not sickly. Perfection in a cute little white mug (with a tiny little handle). This place is cool, but still comfortable, with only a few seats dotted around the tiny interior. It's simple, but effective and very much has a modern and sophisticated feel about the place. The staff we lovely and friendly - just as I like em - and were happy for my friend and I to sit leisurely with our coffees and chat, which is nice considering their lack of seating (they could be in a hurry for a quick turnover, but they were not pushy at all!). The food looked to die for, but sadly I did not get a chance to sample any of it this time around. I'll be back to try it, and to grab myself another one of their fantastic coffees. Check it out everyone! It's worth it.

The antithesis of Costa, Starbucks and all the big chains, Coffee @ 33 is a unique, stylish coffee…read moreshop that utilises recycled coffee sacks as seating. There's only room to seat about 10-15 people at the same time but it's worth making a special trip for the great service, friendly atmosphere and excellent coffee. The beans are ground fresh on site and both the normal and decaf coffee are from the London independent - Monmouth Coffee Co. Coffee. So far, I've tried the espresso, the cappucino, latte and americano and they were all sublime. For those feeling peckish, there's also a small but mouth-watering selection of home-made brownies, muffins, shortcakes, carrot cake and toasties. If only more coffee shops were like this, I'd hop, skip and jump down the street....

Well, it was a good thing we did, since we didn't get to go back for afternoon tea... Just as the name suggests, it is located right by the canal. It was very picturesque, peaceful and relaxing. They also have seating upstairs, and had histories on the canal, with photos posted all around the wall. Their cakes looked amazing, but I decided not to order any dessert on this day. Yes I know, a big mistake! Our friend ordered Heavenly Hot Chocolate, and it looked so pretty! We went with Teashop House Blend Tea, and Earl Grey. The young boy who brought the teas (I hear this is a family-run business) was trying to very careful not to mix them up. But the funny thing was, he totally mixed the tea up! LOL. We didn't realize until half way through... I thought the House Blend tea tasted so much like Earl Grey. For lunch, we had Ham, Cheese & Chutney Sandwich and Eggs Benedict. They were both tasty, nice portion, and filling. Our friend went with something healthier, and ordered one of their vegan sandwiches. It is nice to have that option if you want or need vegan dish. We had a nice quick lunch here. It was adorable and cozy. The food was good, not amazing, but good. I think the sweets might be better than the actual food...I will never know, unless I go back! Lesson learned: don't never expect your plan to go just the way you planned them...and have your dessert first!
