Representative came, did a thorough examination of the issue, gave us lots of information, was very pleasant. He'd send estimate that night or the next day. STILL have not received anything from. I followed up with at least 2 texts- wweren't you going to send us numbers? where are the numbers? We'll have to go with someone else if we don't hear from you. NOTHING. We went with someone else. That was about a month ago. TODAY I receive a call from them wanting to follow up on the estimate they's sent me (that I never received). Well maybe it's in your spam. It wasn't. Needless to say, I told them we were going with someone else. Very frustrated, because the guy who came and spoke to us was extremely nice and knowledgeable.

Robert Hammond (one of the owners) used vulgar language and even resorted to name-calling when I notified him that Sussex County failed the footing inspection. Robert's lack of respect and professionalism made the situation even more frustrating. I would not recommend Liberty Concrete and Home Enhancements LLC to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled contractor. If you're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and treats their clients with respect, LOOK ELSEWHERE! The experience of dealing with Robert and this company has been a complete disappointment. Fortunately, another company was able to work around their screw ups. Now to further fix Liberty's screw up we will be hiring a Landscaper to "hide" the poor curb appeal caused by this company! Do yourself a huge favor when looking for a contractor do your homework and LOOK at ALL reviews before you hire. In response to your comments on this. Perhaps before you call anyone a liar why don't we take a look at the text between us with you admitting to your fault, the proposed completed structure as submitted to Sussex County, and also the failed first footing inspection which you claim didn't happen. As far as the name calling the text clearly show who actually was the name caller and shows how you twist things. There were no lies on any forum (actually 4 not 7 including the BBB). Robert, this has gone on far to long, maybe instead of wasting your energy in trying to discord our honest review about the work you have done for us, you should move on. We have owned our mistake of not doing a vigorous search to review your business before hiring you. Going forward we certainly will not hire any contractor without first doing an extensive search of reviews. If you want to post pics of work another contractor done to fix your screwups then by all means go for it. As for the paperwork, each document is fact including your failed footer inspection you claimed didn't happen. This particular document was taken from the Sussex County website. Now are you going to claim the county is lying as well? I am not going to continue back and forth with you and will not engage in your childish tantrums. The public can come to their own conclusion. My review is honest and backed up with documents. You seem to have a problem owning your mistakes.

Matt was always quick to respond to my many questions (and changes!) and made the whole process so much less stressful. Brian, our foreman, was truly amazing. Since we live three hours away, we had to put a lot of trust in him--and he completely delivered. He sent us updates and photos every night and kept in constant communication with us. He was patient when we needed time to make decisions and always gave helpful, honest advice when we needed it. He's incredibly knowledgable about every aspect of home renovation and we felt like he was always keeping our best interests at heart throughout the renovation. He really went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. At our final walkthrough, he had already caught and planned to address things we hadn't even noticed. Was referred to Herl's from a plumber to help with an elusive shower leak. We were under a time crunch so it was reassuring to hear we may get this leak addressed. I followed up on Thursday to get an update. No response. Followed up on Friday with both a text and voice message. No response so we missed our opportunity to get this leak even looked at by Herl's. This unprofessionalism caused us major stress and ruined our timeline for the repair. He finally replied to us the following week and apologized stating he had a family emergency. We accepted his apology and scheduled a time for him to show up the following week. No show then too. I am glad that I learned about this company's unprofessional behavior before actually getting any service done. For us, Herl's was a complete failure before any work was actually done.
