This is a great place to stay, quiet, peaceful, lots of wildlife including kangaroos feasting on…read morethe grass. Lovely tropical gardens that make it private. Close to several beautiful surfing beaches and located right behind the sand dune at Cabins Beach. Pet friendly property (and so are the beaches) and a secluded reserve at the back to throw a ball. Has everything you need including an outdoor beach shower and BBQ. Quirky, old style takeaway shop close by. Really relaxing. Great value for money.

This pub was a bit of a hike outside of Byron Bay, but it was pretty cool, especially since they…read moreopened rather early, but then again a lot of pubs happen to open early. It was somewhat quiet when I popped through, but that probably had something to do with when I actually visited the place. This place certainly had a lot of charm about it, and some nice beers on tap as well. Okay, it is a bit of a hike, but it's worth it.
