No difficulty finding parking. The office is set up nicely with a comfortable couch, very much what I envisioned a therapist office would look like. Couples like us instead of calmly talk to one another; there were a lot of pointing finger and blaming the other person. David meditated and reframe what we were trying to communicate to our partner without the condemnation, anger, and accusation. He taught us tools, gave us homework (exercises) to work on that are so applicable and transferable to our daily lives. He learned about us through the sessions and helped us to see the person we felt in love with. From time to time, we still utilize his service to fine tune these skills to communicate effectively and productively, to really listen and hear the other person, and to try to see from our partner's perspective. While David is great for couples counseling, he is also wonderful for individual counseling. Both my husband and I have benefited from individual counseling with him, specifically my husband as he felt comfortable talking through things with David. My husband was raised in a strict household and as a man, was not taught and encouraged to express his emotions and talk about his feelings.
