Buying a leather jacket in the summer may seem like a daft idea but it makes for a great deal. If…read moreyou're in the market for anything leather from a brief case to a jacket to a man-bag, this place is the place to go. I went in looking for a messenger bag and I was impressed by the selection. Once I was inside the store, it was only a matter or time before I made my way back to the jackets and that was the beginning of me losing all sense of time and space. The selection was overwhelming. Thanks to the patience of my excellent sales associate James, I left with just the perfect leather jacket for the fall and a great messenge bag. I almost bought a hat but I couldn't find one that didn't look like something I already had. I would recommend it to anyone.

Normally I do not spend my Saturday morning writing a product review. This is my second review of…read moreJamin' leather in the last few weeks. I just received my third order from them yesterday and my only comment is 'WOW' I bought the sleeveless trench coat and the 'fringed western coat' and was not disappointed at all, as my expectations for leather suppliers has reached a new bar since making Jamin' my first option. Both items are above the quality and workmanship standards one would expect. I did pay in the 250.00 range for each item, which for me, is a lot. What I received were two leather goods which very well could have been in the 800-1000 range. Again the helpful staff at Jamin' talked me through the sizing questions and the fit was perfect. My only observation pursuant to the 'fringed coat' was the fit for a suit type jacket was on the button. I bought this for my Cowboy Shooting activities and found it a bit tight for bringing a rifle in position for rapid shooting. This is only information and not derogatory in intent or complaining. The coat is a perfect fit in all respects for normal wearing and comfort. The sleeveless trench is above the all adulations I am capable of writing here. My only comment about this trench coat is when I hung it up the plastic coat hanger snapped at the weight of the coat. We should all have this problem with leather goods. My main purpose in this review is to provide some confidence for people looking for leather goods on the net. I have three bad decisions hanging in my closet which I should have known better. I bought from the EBAY clowns posing as leather vendors. Another big indicator of satisfaction is I am able to call and talk to Jamin' customer service folks almost immediately. Try this with the fly-by-nights who change company name every few months. Again there is no incentive for this review, other than to provide some honest comments from a real person. So many people like myself are searching for a supplier and only find a review consisting of an 'A' followed by a page of pluses. No confidence in that. I hope I have helped in your buying decisions and provided you with an honest appraisal. Lots of choices on the net but stick with the adults selling leather products. If you are someone who enjoys items made from high-quality REAL material (wool/leather) this place…read moreis a gem. It's nestled between two different buildings right next to the Fork n Cork. The person running the store shared that the area where the shop is now used to actually be an alleyway, it's designed really beautifully into the space with a touch of decor reminiscent from when it was just an alley. The photos on the yelp page showing they're right next to the water must be old. When I visited yesterday I did not notice any signage out front that had the business name, but the leather bags hanging in the front windows caught my eye instantly. They were all very different and unique. I think this shop is a mix of found/consignment pieces and mixture of their own leather designs. What this store has: There was an array of different items (gloves, jackets, large bags, purses, accessories, cowboy hats, tweed flat caps, wool scarves, leather belts) all in various colors. This is not a one-trick-poney type of place. I'm a woman with a lot of curves and finding leather that fits me is hard, especially when most consignment leather I find has only been size XS, or S, but this shop had their own women's coats up to 2XL! I walked away, giddy, purchasing their - Quartermaster designed sheepskin trench coat - Cowhide red leather purse - 90% wool herringbone scarf ~ We thought the coat would have been a thousand dollars, it was only $350. I did not expect to leave this trip with a beautiful, buttery, new coat.. But here I am. :)

I bought a really dope over the shoulder bag and my wife made me buy a hat (I like it though!). The bag I purchased was made locally and seems really well crafted. I'll give it a couple of years and re-review if I have any issues. They had some really cool jackets too that my wife would not let me get. It wasn't until I was in the car on the way home that I realized I needed a belt as well. Opportunity missed. The bag and hat were very well priced compared to most of the similar bags I had been looking at online. Staff took a great deal of time showing me products and explaining the differences in quality to me. They also let my dogs walk around with me!

We we received the package, I was amazed how light the box was - and for a solid reason. The box had a pair of size 12 mens shoes. Hannah asked me to send pictures of what was received through Amazon. I did so, and after a few hours and not hearing anything, my wife called. We got the old, "There's multiple stores involved..." "You're not the only customers this has happened to." "We font have any sizes now in that color, or any color in that style (Yet they should available but now at $199.99)" It's a bait and switch. They screwed up on the price, knew that and sent an odd pair of cheaper shows and take less of a hit knowing they would be returned instead of relinquishing the product at the listed price just as South Carolina law dictates. Apparently this has happened to other reviewers here also.
