They would check it, send an estimate and with acceptance repair and ship it back. That seemed unnecessarily complicated from a place like Boulder, home of many outdoor gear companies and repair support. We stopped in to the place we had purchased it, our REI store being incredibly helpful and knowledgeable of such repairs, though they don't do any themselves. They gave us two names, Bare Boulder being the most comprehensive and a 20 minute drive away, on a prominent street in Lafayette. I called, got info from the owner, Eli, about general pricing and timing. We took the bag of poles out 3 weeks ago, the estimate in person was at the low end of general approximation on the phone. We dropped it off and was told about 3 weeks as my husband had no need to camp with for at least a month. We picked it up today, ready on time and beautifully done with even higher quality cord than original. The shop is amazing, with antique sewing machine display, thousands of sizes and colors of zippers, piles of buckles and straps. It appears he can fix such parts on almost anything, luggage, jackets, backpacks, scuba BC vests, tents handbags, tote bags, recreation gear galore. We will certainly return as we wear out more and more of our gear.

A month later, the text or call never came. 5 weeks later, I picked up the bag, and was sad to see the poor, sloppy craftsmanship. They didn't even use the correct color of thread. Haden came home with a beautiful suit that he can use for many years. This store was very nicely organized, and John was great.

This place is unbelievable…read more Bought a white leather purse (not even on discount/sale), and when I got home, I noticed light stains which were not visible in store light. They would not exchange it even with receipt and within 24 hours - the only exception would be if I had my phone number with them on file - which they never told me is required for warranty when I made the purchase. Zero customer service, and shame on them for selling a damaged product. Lost customer for life.

We asked nicely and respectfully to try a couple perfumes and they looked at us like we was bothering them. NOT A SINGLE SMILE. NO ANSWER BACK to customers. I hope this is not because we are ASIAN because RACISM is the most terrible thing for this community. You don't want to take your money to support this type of customer service. Just take your business to where else that respect you. Perfumes are not cheap and We are not asking for free. We still bought an $100 bottle of perfume. And I regret everytime I think about their attitude. We was at the store at 8:00pm on the 26th, DEC of 2022.

We found the shoes we wanted, but my wife needed to use the restroom. When I asked one of the managers, they said it was okay but then told a worker to inform me that the restrooms were unavailable because they had just been cleaned. This was very inconvenient for us and we ended up leaving without buying any shoes. As regular customers, we are disappointed and will not be returning after this incident.
