The preparations are all smothered in sweet sauce and mayo that isn't listed on the menu description for the dish. The rice was old and dry. It's - just not sushi. Worse - they have displays all over the restaurant with slide shows of nice fish, real wasabi root, elegant rolls - none of it is in the restaurant. We have better sushi at the grocery store in Los Angeles.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and always have the best recommendations if you're overwhelmed with all the choices in the menu. The ambiance was fancy, definitely fit for a celebration/anniversary. I felt like we over ordered since we wanted to try many dishes here, but we didn't regret it. All the dishes were delicious. Service was okay. It could be better since it's pretty pricey here. Honestly, we were aware the dining service in Germany is different compared to the US so we didn't expect a top notch service. The waitress was. Very pleasant and had no problem keeping great conversation with us and made sure to check on us a number of times. I loved the food. The ribs were SPICYYY but tasty.
