The store is in a really good location for the stadium, one thing I like is that here it uses different bags which are not only environmentally friendly but suitable for Wembley Stadium, which it is located really close too, who introduced a ridiculous bag policy where you can no longer take in a bag over A4 size whether it is empty or not for "security concerns" which caused much distress and drama on the day, but that is a separate issue and a separate review. The store has pretty much most essentials you want, being London and near Wembley nonetheless it does have inflated prices with a standard 4 pint of milk costing over £1.50, meanwhile, back home in Manchester it would cost around the £1.09 mark - to be fair they did have a multibuy offer to get 2 lots of 4 pints for as I recall £2.20 (or £2.40?), but this probably isn't going to be something too popular based on the location. The store is quite new so it is quite modern, and being on Wembley Way it is close to many hotels, the stadium and Wembley Park Underground station so the location is pretty useful, the staff also seemed friendly enough considering how busy it was with an event just taking place nearby with 81,775 in attendance. Not a fantastic store by all means with inflated prices, but relatively modern and gets the job done to warrant a three-star rating.

Amazon Fresh at Wembley Park is Amazon's second store in the UK, it is located a stone's throw away…read morefrom Wembley Stadium and opposite the Hilton Hotel, so it's in a good location for both Wembley/Brent residents and match-going fans to get their essentials. The store is similar to Amazon Go stores in the US, but a slightly worse version, you scan the QR code to get into the store, and from there you pick up the items you want, and you simply walk out with no need for checkouts, I had a receipt emailed to me shortly after my trip and my card was then charged, for all four of the items I purchased. Nothing more. Nothing less. They also have a cool area where you can pick up and return Amazon products, and they also sell alcohol and spirits, although if you are visiting on an event-day at Wembley, these products will not be sold. Also for event-goers, please remember that Wembley Stadium does not allow food or drink, so if you are purchasing stuff, get them AFTER the match and not before. The store was clean and modern, and the selection was pretty good, they had a large selection of Amazon's own brands including meals and milk. I did find prices to be a little more expensive, especially for essentials and branded items including butter and milk, strangely some products were more expensive in person than buying through Amazon Fresh online. I would have liked to see a cold drinks machine, similar to what they have in the US, in terms of drinks machines they did have two coffee machines, one of which only serves oat milk. I like how they use a separate machine for oat milk, as someone with an allergy to oats, it means I can use the left machine, in confidence, knowing that my coffee is not contaminated by oats. (I wish more and more places realised the dangers of offering oat milk without cleaning down before/after use!) 4* - Pretty cool store, I love the concept more than anything, this store is surely the best of its' kind in the Wembley Park area and was a much-needed addition. Small and cramped, it's not always easy to get around and I've often seen mothers with buggies struggling to steer through the few aisles. The product variety is very poor, probably due to the lack of space, but recently I was looking for custard and upon enquiry I was told that they probably had it in storage, but that it wasn't stocked in the shop as nobody bought it. Maybe I am the only who sometimes uses ready made custard, but I wonder what else this Tesco store are keeping in storage and out of the customers' reach. Most of the staff seem ok, though they do get a little paranoid if you take your time doing your shopping.

Some 20 years ago when my father was terminally ill and had the care of my late mother with dementia, I needed to go to this shop to cancel newspaper delivery, The owners expressed their sadness at my personal responsibilities and told me how much they enjoyed my father's visit to their shop and their many chats over the years when he came in to pay his bill. Sadly, I had to advise of his death and to my delight and surprise they took the time to send a card of sympathy to our house. Such kindness shown warrants expression of my gratitude & support from all the community in troubling times.
