The beverage and free from selection could have been improved, there was a small selection of iced teas but I opted for a Waitrose One freshly squeezed orange juice, this came to £2 which is pretty average for the location, but on the other hand a tad expensive as it wasn't freshly squeezed in store and a regular store or rival outside of a travel location would sell something double the size for around the same price - so that's a shame. The store layout did seem strange, it felt like a series of rectangles, kind of clockwise but it's hard to fully describe, but overall this is a nice and useful brand to have in Kings Cross Station and the store isn't bad, it isn't overly impressive but it isn't bad. 3*

It looks small from the outside but once inside and down the escalator it is clear that it is fairly big. They have a decent sized section of ready meals, salads and sandwiches but if that is what you are after the M&S Simply Food next to the Hilton is slightly better. There is a good sized section of meat and produce and the vegetables have so far been of good quality. Prices are decent as well and I do like that there is seldom any long lines to pay so as far as grocery stores go this one is definitely one of the better ones.

It has a pretty good range of products with a small fresh fruit and veg section and a bakery section, along with all the other goods you would expect to find in these local type supermarkets plus a few extras (which the marks and spencer next door dont seem to stock). But be warned, the one very big down side to this store are the queues. There is always a queue - even when I have come through the station late at night you can still expect to line up behind at least 5 others before you can pay. And in rush hour, when people are on thier way home, the queue runs all the way round the shop!

It looks to be open almost 24h, and it has a small but carefully selected range of things... expect sandwiches, a bit of fruit and veg, booze, cigs, the usual. You'll also be able to pick up things like washing up liquid, a ready meal or two and other household items. It's not a huge property but I find it a much better alternative to other supermarkets on the street because it has quick self serve tills and it's well laid out. It's also not terribly busy (perhaps because it's newly opened).
