Being in a shopping centre, it's not like visiting an out of town superstore, but I think that makes Waitrose better. They concentrate on food and drink instead of cut price clothes and electronics. They carry all the major leading brands, but also offer their own brand which is just as good as the top brands if not better. Being too expensive is an accusation often levelled at Waitrose, but they sell good quality, which costs and they also keep items yoiu might not see elsewhere. Every month, they also have special offers and three for two offers, so you can save some money depending on what you buy. The other thing about Waitrose is that it tends to be a low stree shopping experience. No trolley barging or masses of people, just well mannered people all doing their shopping, a slice of civility in today's hectic world.

It…read morehas ample parking at £2 for 2 hours which you can get refunded at the till if you spend over £8 which lets face it is half a shopping basket! I find it excellent value for money on the top named brands and often do my 'staple' shop here. There is all you need really in a small space and its a 'quick' shop. It can sometimes look a bit dirty but I think its just getting old and tierd looking now. Upstairs the restaurant had a makeover not so long ago and is an excellent place to park the hubbie and children whilst you shop!
