Being in a shopping centre, it's not like visiting an out of town superstore, but I think that makes Waitrose better. They concentrate on food and drink instead of cut price clothes and electronics. They carry all the major leading brands, but also offer their own brand which is just as good as the top brands if not better. Being too expensive is an accusation often levelled at Waitrose, but they sell good quality, which costs and they also keep items yoiu might not see elsewhere. Every month, they also have special offers and three for two offers, so you can save some money depending on what you buy. The other thing about Waitrose is that it tends to be a low stree shopping experience. No trolley barging or masses of people, just well mannered people all doing their shopping, a slice of civility in today's hectic world. read more
