The tortillas were bland. They had no salt, flavor, and too much coarse texture. The meats were all over the place. The carne asada was big but boring. It has no taste. The chicken was fine. I'd eat it again but it needed salsa. Your meats should not need sauce. The al pastor was passable but not correctly made. There was no pineapple marinading the pork on the trompo, and the pork itself was way too moist. The tacos were so oily or wet that they broke the tortillas. You can't eat their tacos without a mess happening. It's a frustrating meal. Mexican food is a celebration of flavor. It's comforting, homey, satisfying, and makes probably the best street food. Potato salad with al dente potatoes was tasty. They also have beer and cocktails so ordered a Gin and Tonic while we waited for our order. Friendly people behind the counter. Food was ready in about 15 minutes. That said, I can see they could get busy and have longer wait times. Make this stop for local grilled sausage deliciousness.

I assured her it was not a problem and then paid with my credit card. After a short wait, they called my name and I picked up my choripan. it was quite the handful filled with layers of roasted peppers, tortilla chips, onions and lettuce. The tortilla chips were stale but overall I liked the flavors especially with the heat from the peppers and chipotle mayo. It was a nice twist on the popular choripan.

The corn tortillas are even worse, very thick and with an unpleasant smell - not at all like the thin, bright yellow corn tortillas that i like. Even with the bad tortillas this is one of the best mexican restaurants in BA that i have tried, and i have tried a few.
