I was near my exit, and was able to make it to my destination. The next day (when I was driving home) the light had gone off and car was driving normal. However, I didn't know if it would stay like that, and driving through eastern Colorado/western Nebraska is pretty desolate. I was unable to get anyone in Denver to look at it (maybe because its still under warranty? They all said they couldn't get me in for over a week??? - they got a very poor review!) They knew I was traveling by myself, I'm a female (husband didn't come along), and driving back to Nebraska - they knew I couldn't hang around Denver for over a week waiting for them. The light went back on before I got out of Denver. I decided to pull off at Ft Morgan to let the car cool down - and saw Ehrlich CDJR. Decided to see if they could give a quick look. They not only gave it a quick look, they found that my car needed a couple of computer updates and it fixed the issue - they even washed and vacumed my car - all for free (warranty). I was back on the road in less than an hour. I know this dealership was as busy as the ones in Denver supposedly were - he told me - but they were willing to work me in because they knew I didn't have any other options. They were very friendly, helpful and knew exactly what to do. I was able to drive the rest of the way home without stressing about my car. Thank you Ehrlich CDJR! You are my hero!

With no spare, I was towed to the nearest dealership which happened to be this one. Note that it's closed on Sunday so I waited until Monday at 8am when they opened. Rocky at the parts is amazing. I told him my sob story and that I needed to get to my destination several hours away - by tonight. He emphatically listened, searched his inventory database and volunteered to have a driver go an hour each way to get the specific tire I needed. Action started at 8am and I was back on the road by 12:30pm. D and Loren whom are service advisors were equally professional and gracious, but Kip, Ed and especially Rocky from the parts team did me a solid and really exhibited exceptional customer service. Thank you!

When I…read morewent to their website, it wasn't working (and still isn't over a month later btw) so I decided to call because I couldn't see all of the pictures. I spoke to Brenton in sales, and when I called I was asking about a black 4Runner. He told me that he couldn't see it in their system, but that they had a nice white one with the same TRD package and less miles, so he emailed me their iPacket on the white one. The next day I reached out to discuss pricing and details and began negotiations with Brenton, we agreed on a price so we moved forward with the purchase. Fast forward to the last minutes of the day, I still haven't seen the vehicle in person but I was willing to start financing on it so they set me up with Jamie. For what it's worth, Jamie was excellent. As we're going through the first part of the process, Jamie mentioned the mileage and it wasn't right. I then told him the vin number of the iPacket on the vehicle I was discussing all day with Brenton and he said he will have to call me back. Ten minutes later the sales manager Rich is calling me. He sounds very confused as to how I ended up with the iPacket that I did because apparently that vehicle had been sold for a while. Turns out, Brenton never went out to physically look at the inventory of what he was sending me, then somehow he decided that he was selling me a black one that I had never seen any kind of information on. Rich drove the black one they were trying to sell me to my house to let me see it and test drive it. It was a nice vehicle so I agreed to move forward with the purchase under the conditions that they pay to have the front windows tinted to match the back and put a clear bra on it. That service ended up being scheduled at their Greeley location because of where I live. I took my vehicle into that location about a week later for the service and when I came to pick it up at the end of the day NOTHING was done to my vehicle. When I spoke to the contact on site, River, he just came up with excuses as to why it wasn't done, then proceeded to try and tell me that there was already a clear bra on the hood and even tried to show me where it was, when in fact there was no clear bra on the hood at all. I called Rich to discuss more with him because by this point both locations have dropped the ball severely. He asked what he could do to make it right and I told him I would like some kind of maintenance package deal. He told me that when I took it back in to have it done he would have something worked out for me. When I took it back in I called him and sent him a text and he didn't respond until the next day when I sent him another message asking him to respond. He told me there is no maintenance package he can offer me and told me that they would pay for one oil change when it's ready. To which I told him I will no longer be a McDonald Toyota customer ever again and that one single oil change won't make it right, it's more of an insult at that point. After this whole ordeal, the incompetency of each situation is what has lead me to leave this review. It comes off as they don't value their customers and that even if they are in the wrong they will lie to your face to try and find a way out of it. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

They convinced us our best move is to sell them the car because it will take a long time to repair it, for a ridiculous amount of money! Unfortunately we fell for it. To make matters worst they do not rent cars unless you return them to the same location. So I looked into financing a car through them. I was upfront that my credit credit score was low at the time, but again he convinced me to run a credit check regardless, only to tell me the obvious rudely! Making my credit score 23 points worst, when he promised the check won't hurt my credit score!

Oil change 2013 Sequoia The service department could care less about any convenience to the customer and only wants to charge for things they don't need to. For the recall work that takes just 2-2.5 hours (info verified by another Toyota dealership) we were told we needed to leave the vehicle ALL day with them. I don't think so. I am not going to drive 45 mins one way to leave my vehicle for recall work all day when the dealership wants to fit me in between cash/paying customers because the recall work is at their expense. Wrong answer- POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Autumn in the service department would NOT give us the price of the part or look at an APPROXIMATION of labor hours required to fix the lift gate, as we have read and know what is wrong with the COMMON lift gate issue for these 2004 Sequoias. She would only tell us we needed to again leave the vehicle all day and it would be $130 just to tell us what we already know. Oh but if we have them do the work they'll apply it toward the grand total. Wrong answer- POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I refuse to go to a dealership with such crummy customer service and policies that obviously don't care about their customers. She also told us when we set an appointment for an oil change the appointments get priority over walk-ins. Gee...why would I need to leave you my car all day for recall work when I set an appointment for it and it takes just 2-2.5 hours? Obviously because they don't want to service recalls the same as tickets with a balance owed to them. Come on Ehrlich, Toyota should be better than this. Saving TIME, which is money and gas as well, and going to S & S Auto locally in Sterling.

BG Automotive? More like "BS" Automotive. The one star is for an oil change (since 0 stars is not…read morean option). BG Auto IS SHADY, smooth talking for sure, but A RIP OFF. STAY AWAY. This is a lengthy description, but it's not half the story. To all the glowing 5 star reviewers - check your invoices. The problem started with their "courtesy inspection" accompanying the oil change, where half of their recommendations (deemed red flag "Requires Immediate Attention") ultimately turned out to be mostly unnecessary and absurdly expensive. That became apparent only after paying. My bad, of course, I obviously should have asked to see a detailed estimate prior to the work. The initial estimate did not provide parts or labor detail & appeared to indicate the work was part of a "complete tune up." Upon dropping off the truck, "Service Advisor"Jesse stated that Champion copper spark plugs had been factory installed on 2013 RAM 2500s, so that was best & what BG would install. Classic BAIT & SWITCH: BG charged $508.48 for a set of 16 plugs! When I challenged the bill, asking if "kryptonite plugs" were installed instead, Jesse indicated, no, the copper plugs were used... then he checked his computer & stated, actually no, in fact the [far] more expensive NKG iridium plugs were installed. "They're much better because they last up to 100,000 miles," he emphasized. I replied, "Great. BG just changed out NGK iridium plugs that had been in the engine already, with only 60,000 miles on them." The WORK WAS COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. Also on the bill was a "TOTAL FEES" charge of $175.77 (yes, that specific), but with ZERO DETAIL of what those fees were for or how they were calculated. Jesse couldn't provide that detail either, "It could be shop supplies, or hazardous disposal - you know, those state regulations - it could be almost anything." Note there were no hazardous materials involved with this work, such as a tire or battery disposal fee. (Google search indicates: In Colorado, shop fees are usually calculated as a percentage of the labor cost (e.g., 5-10%) and are often capped at a maximum amount (e.g., $25 to $50). Also, Colorado statute requires the repair invoice to have some kind of description of these fees, and further, "a description of each part by name and identifying number." Nowhere on the invoice was the type of plugs installed specified, either. You get NADA DETAIL from BS Automotive. Finally, while repair shops typically mark up parts 70-100% of wholesale price, BG is marking up parts in the ballpark of 100% of retail price. (If you can pry out of them the parts brand they say they'll use, you can easily verify this with a Google search at their counter.) They should be ashamed and embarrassed for what they're charging the hardworking folks of Longmont. When pressed to justify the charges, Jesse insisted they were competitive, "within 5% of other local repair shops." More BS. Comparing apples to apples (parts & labor only), the local dealership quoted over $200 less, the Loveland repair shop I've frequented in the past was over $400 less (obviously, checked after the fact...). If the handful of other shops Jesse quoted are actually within 5%, they are ripping us off too. Jesse would not budge on the final bill, but he did offer to comp me an oil change. As if! I had already told him I would never set foot in BG Automotive again. However, I would take a call from the BG Automotive (Owner) to provide the rest of the story about this pathetic BG encounter.
