I would give this company negative stars if I could!…read more Awful and VERY EXPENSIVE experience. I signed a contract with this company on March 22 of this year to pour some concrete for me and build a shed around my pool equipment. I wrote them a check for half of the total cost up front. The job was supposed to be complete by March 31st. I was told on March 31st that they were going to start that afternoon. They came out for about 2 hours to start removing grass. I did not see them again for another 2 weeks. On April 18th, I asked when they were going to be finished and was told it would be another 2 weeks. They came out one day for about 4 hours and finished removing grass and dirt and placed some of the forms and left the rest of the 2x4's in my driveway for over a week. On May 1st, I reminded Steve (owner) that he his 2 weeks had come and gone. He ignored my text. On May 8th, I reminded him that he still had a job to do and that he had been paid $3,600 in advance. He said he would be out "one day this week." On May 9th I text him to inform him that his guys were not at my house. They came out on May 10th and finally placed the remaining forms and capped my sprinkler heads. On May 12th he sent out a guy with a small dirt mover to remove the dirt and grass that they had dug up. That guy decided to run over my sprinkler valve box, which severed all the water lines coming in from the water well and flooded the backyard. I was forced to turn off the water well until this issue got fixed. I informed him that I had 40 pallets of sod being installed the next day and he needed to fix the valves. He sent a guy out around 6:00 PM to "fix" the valves. Come to find out, his guy just filled the hole with dirt. I had to pay the landscaper installing the sod to fix the valves the next morning. Long story, short: Steve has blocked my number, blocked my wife's number and has no intention of finishing the job he was paid for or refunding the $2,100 he has been paid for work not completed. His quote to install the forms and prep for concrete was $1,500. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and am contacting the local DA today. IF you are in the market for a fence or concrete work, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Randomly one day I came home to my fence down and workers in my yard. (I have dogs!!!) The excuse was "I left you a voicemail this morning that we were coming sometime today." They did not order enough fencing, so they put up 2 DIFFERENT fences on this SMALL yard. The workers had to paint a new gate going up, and did not prep my brick before hand, so they just painted my brick with it. On one side of my house, the workers did not feel the need to make the fence go all the way up to my house...when I asked about it, he nailed a random board to to end so my small dogs could not get around the bottom. The owner would not listen to me about the issues I had and the completed project. I do not recommend this company.

But then, they identified several other issues - water main only 1/2 ON, leaking underground pipes, back yard valves with no covers (and one under a poured patio!) and some heads that weren't doing the job. They told me what problems I had, told me how much it would cost to make right (VERY reasonable) and set to work doing the work with no wasted time or effort. The work was done extremely well - on budget - and my front and back lawn sprinklers are now working as they should have when first installed. Fixed front and rear stations, leaking pipes, head replacements and construction of a new back yard valve and sprinkler location - five hours, $500 labor AND PARTS! VERY REASONABLE FOR THE WORK DONE AND DONE RGHT! I greatly respect Johnny and Billy for their integrity, work ethic, knowledge and professionalism. Need sprinkler repair or new construction? We called Overhead Door, and they came out and confirmed that the spring simply needed more tension. Despite this, we were charged $100 because they said it was not covered under warranty. Even the technician agreed with us that this issue should have been covered, as it was not something we could have prevented. It also raises concerns about whether the correct tension was applied when the spring was installed in the first place. Due to this experience, we will not be using this company again and will not be referring them to friends or family.
