Instead of having too wait 3 weeks to have our equipment picked up, serviced and returned she worked magic and we walked out with a new (similar) model piece of equipment. Pretty sure because she took the time to talk to us and discovered the amount of work I had piled up and knew the predicament I was in at the time. She even agreed and arranged to have my new equipment tested by a tech before we left the store to ensure it worked properly. Even the rest of the staff was nothing short of great making us feel right at home. Everyone was very polite, friendly and eager to assist us and other customers in the store with whatever they needed. No high pressure, no feeling unwelcomed or like we were alone in the store with no assistance. Always apologizing for us having to wait when honestly we have waited longer for way less elsewhere. I recently experienced a problem with a microwave that I had purchased and installed by Billywoods. It was a failure of a the door opening mechanism of a GE microwave that was still under warrantly. It ocuured two days before Christmas. I called Billywoods and John answered the phone. To make a long story short, John volunteered to come out to my home in a cold rain storm and he solved my immediate problem of getting the door open to remove food that was inside. He also set up for an appliance maintenance company to order the broken part and to come to my home to repair the microwave. That is real customer service!!!!

I own a condo on Harbor Island and the refrigerator desperately needed to be replaced in time for the rental season to ramp up. A few gentlemen were outside whom welcomed us in. For this to be a large warehouse, they didn't really have alot of options available. The options were decent, but nothing I was looking for or comparable to the website. I think it could use some work on the outside and with the inventory and that might help get more customers in, as it was very empty. The employees were very helpful and friendly, which I really appreciated!

So we've been looking for a new washer/dryer to go in our new house, and with time running out with the last month of our rental to do laundry in, Kat & I hit the streets looking for a deal on a washer set. At first, we rode around to some of the scratch & dent dealers, but had no real luck finding something that we wanted. Either too worn out or dubious warranties issues. Livingood's was going to be our last stop for the day before we headed back to the drawing board. After we arrived at their location, we walked into a very clean and organized showroom. A staff member promptly greeted us and took us to what we were looking for. They too offer a scratch & dent section in the back of the warehouse. We milled about, checking everything out but couldn't find a dryer that matched a washer. The staff member that was with us ended up showing us some sets on the main showroom floor, and getting the sense that we really didn't want to spend a couple thousand dollars right after buying a house, offered us the floor set at a discounted price. It ended up being perfect, and we're set up for delivery of our brand new set on Tuesday, and have a pretty good warranty to boot! The whole process was painless and it's safe to say the next time we are in the market for an appliance, we will definitely be coming back here.

The noice problem we have is intermittent and thus, very hard to diagnose. You; can hear the noise anywhere in the house, and the unit is in the garage. Not the fault of Living Goods. Service is problematic. When you call for service, its AI driven. You call to set a date and you have to celar your calendar for that entire day because you wont know until the day before, what time they will be there. So, another lost day. 2 out of the first 2 deliveries were damaged. the third, the wrong product was delivered. YES, they try and make good with extended warranties ( worth their weight in sh.....) and help with delivery costs. Another ticked off ex customer.

I was in here wondering about a couch set that they had and after working with them for a couple of…read moredays, was getting down to the wire in a set. I thought it sounded good until they kept sneaking in random charges and trying to talk me into a plan with interest when I qualified for 12 months without. I ultimately decided to walk away cause it didn't make sense for me personally being a college student and was ASTOUNDED by what the "nice" gentleman who was helping me said when he thought I couldn't hear! He said my mother "couldn't comprehend" the terms, which in all honestly were sketchy, then when I decided to pass, made a comment about how I was "a waste of three hours" among other things (overall I had only taken maybe an hour of this mans time). Mr. Tim was nice up until then but honestly don't go here unless you want to be talked badly about and have random charges snuck in!
