What a great experience. When we walked in the door the first time, a gentleman rushed up to help us get started. Looking at the menu, there are so many options I wanted to try. We selected a couple of drumstick options ..the snow chicken ( which has a lot of sliced onion and some sort of sauce, but is mild) and a lemon and something flavor . I personally would have enjoyed more lemon flavor and some Chiles, but what I got was delicious. I also ordered a side of fish and rice cakes covered in a bit of spicy sauce and my wife ordered a side of coke slaw that was sweet . The spicy fish and rice cakes were marvelous and I highly recommend you try them...there was no fishy taste. We will be returning to try other options . read more

Heard great things about this establishment. It's fairly new in town, so we decided to check it out. The staff were very friendly, greeted us as we came in, we were immediately sat and our drink order was taken. We had many questions as this was our first time. Our waitress was very helpful and even brought us a variety of the sauces to taste. We ordered the shrimp tempura to start. They were super crispy and had great flavor. The shrimp were tender and juicy, the panko coating had a wonderful crunch. The pickled radish was fantastic. It was crunchy and had just the right amount of tang! For our meal we tried two of their dishes. The lemon spring onion and the snow onion. The spring onion had a bit of a bite to it due to the raw onion, the soy and lemon flavors were present as well. It was more spicy than the sweet snow onion. The chicken was moist and juicy with another great coating on the outside! I have been to South Korea and CM chicken definitely tastes like authentic korean fried chicken, highly recommend! Some of the wing choices have a tiny bit of spice so make sure you let the waiter know no spice if youre picky. Dont forget to eat with the food gloves they provide--it can get pretty messy and sticky but delicious and worth using gloves! Owners were awesome to talk to. Plus side: Service was great! Really fast and easy to order. Negative: Way too pricey for just 5 pieces of chicken in a box. I ended up getting the curried chicken and it was oddly sweet (usually curries are savory). Not a lot of curry sauce on it and the side selection was not good at all. read more

We tried the Pickerington location today and it was great! The flavor of the fried soy garlic was perfect! My husband had the spicy soy garlic and said it was a great combo of sweet and heat! Food is good service was horrible. The young lady with glasses running the register acted as though I was a bother rather than a customer. I only received one word replies to questions in a quiet voice. She turned her back on me while answering my question forcing me to ask again because I couldn't hear her when she was facing me so why would I be able to hear her when her back is turned. Chicken is good but overpriced for what you get especially when the service is lacking. I felt like an inconvenience and her shift had just started because she replaced another young woman who was leaving. That person was the reason I tried the place because I spoke to her Mom in the parking lot and she greeted me with a big smile and kind words when I entered. We ordered chicken through DoorDash. Our food arrived extremely hot and fresh. The to-go box is cute and my "snow" toppings were served in cups so the food didn't get soggy. We ordered snow tenders and spicy soy wings. The pod was crunchy, sweet, savory, fresh, and yummy. I couldn't stop eating my dinner. I ordered the spicy sauce on side and it wasn't a let down. I've been here multiple times, but after my most recent experience I'm not sure I'll return. I love supporting local/ small businesses but it's hard when their values are based on greed. The chicken and fries are good, the boba I got for the first time and wasn't really wowed... my initial thought is it's pretty basically. I ordered the salad and after being brought out a plate of lettuce, 5 cherry tomatoes sliced in half and some sauce for $8 I asked if I could send it back because it wasn't what I was expecting .. to my surprise and for the first time ever the waitress straight up said no that I wasn't allowed to return anything. I was disappointed ... and ended up walking out paying $8 for a salad I threw away. I asked for some sides (ranch and the radish) and every single addition was charged. I pay more coming here than I would a chain restaurant, for mediocre service. I think charging $8 for a head of lettuce should be illegal, I also think not allowing your customer the right to dislike an item or return an item is cheap and greedy. Food is wonderful. But I work for a huge company nearby and we have a strict 1 hour break. I called and ordered our food ahead because it takes over 10 mins to prepare. When we got there, I asked if we could dine in just for a short period and we have no issues paying dine in fee and tipping and we will get drinks as well (I ordered and $5+ boba). When I first asked it took about 5 minutes for them to even decide. We ate a few pieces quickly because we work in cubicles and don't want to eat at our desks. We tipped and were very grateful but then we were told this can't happen again. The whole experience was just terrible and awkward. We watched people wait 10-20 minutes for their food but it was a problem to order it ahead of time to try enjoy great food on our lunch break. read more

This restaurant is really something special for the Pickerington area. This was our first visit and our first time trying Korean fried chicken, and we were not disappointed. We dined in, and the owner was kind enough to go over the menu and explain all the dishes and options. All 4 of us ordered something different to try, and we shared a basket of fries and onion rings. The portions are huge, and we all had enough to take home for a meal the next day. The chicken was fresh, the sauces were all unique and delicious. I had to stop myself from eating anymore but wanted to just keep eating. We honestly didn't see what all the hype was about here. We'd seen that this was given several 5-star reviews and is a relatively new place...so with an errand taking us over here in this direction, we figured what the heck? In two words, I'd describe this experience as "confusing" and "overwhelming." This place has two major positives on its side - it's very clean (almost to a fault) and the portion sizes are massive! The service was good and we were well-taken care of...but past that it was so very average. It's not apparent why they have a tri-fold menu. There aren't that many items available, and yet it was very overwhelming to read through. Neither of us felt that the dishes were well explained, so we just went with the regular chicken and spicy garlic chicken. The food came out relatively quickly...although it didn't seem like there was a ton of business. Sitting in the restaurant was an odd experience - little signage to teach the customer, almost too cold and sanitary and not welcoming. We don't understand why it's called "CM Chicken" and short of a couple of recognizable ingredients, the ties to "Korean chicken" were not at all obvious. The connection seemed almost forced as we felt like we were shouting over the YouTube list of K-Pop music blaring out of several TV's. The chicken was...fine, but after the first piece, we were just full and underwhelmed. We ended up leaving with two full takeout boxes. Fortunately we got the sauce for the spicy garlic on the side...since it was definitely spicy, but was pretty boring. In fact, after the first several bites, we wondered what the draw to come back was. Honestly, you get a lot of food for the money, but I don't see this place thriving very long. Most people will probably prefer their chicken a little more traditional out of a chain restaurant.
