My dentist in LA wanted to charge for a crown and work I didn't need. Her practice has state of the art equipment including the newest handheld X-ray equipment so they don't have to jam plastic inserts into your mouth. They have outstanding imaging software so you can see everything in high definition color. If you are thinking about driving to Mexico to get dental work done, just do it. The doctors in the US are most likely ripping you off and doing work you don't need. Dr. Olivas does too quality work and is honest. Well worth the drive.

I was in between plans so I was fortunate to be able to travel to TJ and they value it in my tooth and it was so cracked that I couldn't just get it repaired instead they had to pull it and put it in implant. It was taken care of that day with meticulous care. I know the dentist has a very high-level of attention to detail, which I really appreciated. Wasted my time, money and gas to make these trips Do I have confident to drive down and make them re-do the broken crown? Do I trust them to do a 3 teeth bridge for me? I guess I'll be staying locally and get the dental bridge done. I don't know what happened to the excellent work from this office but it seems the ladies that worked there are no longer there plus Dr Elias is no longer there. The professional team of doctors and staff at BC Dental are outstanding in every way. They have English speakers in the office. They are all very caring and friendly. I've used them now going on 20 years. Extractions, fillings, crowns, braces for my kids, and even cleanings. All done with gentle care. Seriously though, the least painfull cleanings of my life. There is parking at the corner mini-mall for 5$ no time limit, a dirt parking lot on the side street, or parking meters if you are comfortable. WARNING Don't even think about illegal parking as the meter guys come around often. Uber now offer English speaking drivers if you prefer. Super easy to walk across the border and uber here and back.

It was a super easy walk across the border. Their taxi picked us up and dropped us off. Had a really nice coffee at a charming coffee shop next-door. My father doesn't live near Tijuana, so he mailed them to me, we got them "fixed" and guess what.. 1st day after they were sent back, ANOTHER tooth fell out Dentist office says they don't have records to make a new pair and he must be present. Didn't give us any direction on how to fix the issue and now we're $2500 into 2 sets of teeth that keep falling apart. I have sent dozens of friends and family here over the past 8 years and now regret ever giving them business. Terrible service, terrible care and don't take responsibility for their actions. Spend the money and go elsewhere. Or just get your teeth cleaned.
