They are so bad that they keep removing my posts. Negative feedback can sometimes make for an absolute better outcome!! I believe took place 5/3-5/6.... Horrible & Incomplete. I Would NEVER EVER  recommend their services Such -A Rip-Off for the $$$$$ they charged for  an uncompleted Job!! They took advantage  of my current health of my health issues.  Raul said no worries, no worries he understands and it all will get done.  things will get done that I asked, NOTTTT!!! YES, there was a lot to be done but reading other reviews similar to my situation. My deep cleaning etc took four(4) longggggg days!!! Things were taken without permission. And other things were thrown out w/o my permission. They didn't speak English  and I don't speak Spanish!!!!   They attempted  to remove my inoperable washing machine, broke a cabinet door, scratched up my oven. Re-placed washing machine where it was and now I have a leak since early May no one can figure out why and we'll it's a longggg story. Just very stressed for almost 3 months!!   There was some very unmentionable items gone and to me just reducing final price seems a sign of  possible guilt,  to shut me up!! Just my opinion discouraging and pretty upset that I actually got sick over this among other things!!! I asked them to give me an estimate on cleaning a hoarders apartment. I know the place is a mess but 8k for 3 rooms? It's not like you can't even walk in the place and there's crap piled to the ceiling. There's not. I know. I've been there. They "probably" do a good job although I wouldn't know. I'm not about to spend 4 months of my pension on a 1 day cleaning job. If you call them, be ready to open up your wallet very far. It's gonna cost you. read more

I spoke to Bonnie in great detail about my situation and needs. I had to clean out an apartment we own after the tenants animal hoarded and left the place filthy. I sent pictures, explaining my embarrassment and dilemma and was ready to proceed with an estimate and appointment for cleaning up...but Bonnie and staff flaked out on me big time. None of my calls or emails were answered for over 2 weeks. Bonnie left me hanging with an occasional text promising to get back to me ASAP but after 2 weeks I got the hint. Very disappointing and unprofessional. BTW: I'm sure the condition of the apartment wasn't so bad that it scared Bonnie off. I was moving out of my apartment and I needed to discard quite a bit of junk and furniture. Also I needed to have the apartment cleaned. Raoul and Bonnie were very good and they had their junk removal crew remove all the junk and then an hour later the cleaning crew came in and cleaned the apartment from top to bottom, including the ceilings. Right on time! With the help of Bonni, I was able to get my furniture broken down and disposed of in short time! The 'strongmen' (my mother's words) were kind, respectable and easy to work with. My husband and I had to remove all contents from our video store in Manhattan. Raul and company came within an hour with an estimate. We got a estimate that was similar to other but with a difference. Not only would they remove the junk... but they would help de-assemble it. I did not hire this service. Some well-meaning relatives hired them while I was hospitalized as I was expected to come back with severely limited mobility. They not only cleaned it up, they cleaned it out. All paper, plastic and shopping bags that I had were removed, possibly with lots of my possessions. My LPs were on shelves, filed by artist from A to Z with multiples filed chronologically. They have not been played in at least 30 years but were in fine condition as I always played them on high-end turntables. I found them in complete reverse order, upside down and backwards with the spines to the wall. I guess it was too cluttered for them so about 20 albums are missing. I imagine someone didn't like that my CDs were stacked against the wall, so they were put in boxes and at least 40 of them are missing. There are also missing DVDs, Blu Rays and books. An unopened James Bond collectible figure is missing. Because it was a limited run, that figure is now worth six times the initial cost and it was to be a present for my only grandson whom I haven't seen in two years because of cancer and Covid. My kitchen towels, pot holders, oven mitts, the custom cover for an electric mixer and all the utensils that were hanging on a rack are gone. The dish rack was missing. Even my tea kettle, I could not even boil water for coffee the next morning. There was nothing wrong with it. A bathroom sink caddy including the attachments for my beard trimmer is gone as is the shower caddy. Pens, Sharpies, laser pointers, hair brushes, a brand-new personalized hoodie - all MIA. The litter box mat is also gone, I only had that for a month. It's not as if it was old and worn. All the wall hangings such as needlepoint and framed art was removed from the walls and not put back. This was not a chore I relished having to do as I'm subject to falls and I had to get on a ladder to do it at a point in which I could barely walk. Now I wasn't here but some of those relatives were so either they or the crew is responsible. Even if it was the crew, I hold those relatives partially responsible for not keeping an eye on my possessions. Some of which are too expensive now for me to replace and some were gifts from my late son and have a great sentimental value. I've disowned the relatives and have changed the lock so that they can't get in. Everyday since I came back from the hospital, I've cursed all those responsible because as the weeks went by, I found more items missing. The grift that keeps on taking. All I can say is that you had better keep an eye on things while the crew is there and since they can send a small army, it's going to take a lot of oversight. read more

They were thorough and patient on their free assessment. They took pictures and estimated the approximate cost of clearing out excess stuff. They called back to arrange a date. These guys are great! It started with Raul. He answers his phone, but when he can't answer he calls right back. He set a time to come look at our Chelsea loft office space to give us a quote for his service. He arrived on time and we told him what we needed in our 4,000 office space: All the cubicles (16 workstations), plus 19 file cabinets and a bunch of other miscellaneous stuff had to be taken out of the space - in a single day. He looked around, did some mental math and provided us a quote we were happy with. We paid a 10% deposit and we set a date. About a day or two before, we realized we didn't get proof of insurance, so we shot him over an Email and he got right back to us with a certificate of insurance and we were good to go. On the day, Raul and his team arrived ON TIME and they were all conscientious and attentive to their work and the surroundings: We are a functioning office, so they kept it professional and went to down breaking down our cubicle system. It was hard, messy work - but within 4 hours they were done, floors swept clean and the space now looks like a dance studio and every body left with smiles all around. Here's the thing: I'm sure clutter/junk removal services generally get the job done. But if you want the job done well by people who take their work seriously, get where you're coming from: Hire these guys. There are multiple Yelp listings of this business, so I hope my review's going in the right place! We were in search of a company that would provide post construction clean up of our home. We had our Flushing, Queens home's kitchen demolished and renovated, along with having our hardwood floors refinished with another company. I was concerned about the lingering fine dust left behind, even though the contractors "cleaned up" the place upon completion. Being that my mother is severely allergic to dust, I decided to take action and seek quotes from different Yelp businesses on how much they would take to clean our home! I knew we definitely needed our home to be HEPA filtered and cleaned! I called up and Bonni personally came to give our family an estimate. She said a TEAM would come in and clean EVERYTHING, the door trims, floors, ceilings, walls, mantles, even detail our chandelier - EVERYTHING from the basement to the first and second floors, even special sanitizing vacuuming of our couches, and helping to move our displaced furniture back in. I was worried a rough and tumble crew would damage our new refinished hardwood floors, brand new kitchen flooring, cabinets, and fixtures/appliances - but boy was I wrong! They were great! It was a momentous task! At 9am a team of six people worked until 9:30pm! They were friendly, prompt, communicative, and David (team leader) always kept me abreast as to what was going on. Super props to BEN - the amazing friendly giant who cleans like nobody's business. This guy puts a smile on his face, when it's full of dirt, and I appreciate his hustle! I also appreciated how David happily carted away extra garbage (empty boxes, doors, books, random unwanted crap from our home) - no questions asked! In end, they did everything they promised! The next morning though, I noticed that the inside of my kitchen cabinets had DUST in it, and my front gate's latch was broken. I was pretty disappointed - as this was the whole point of the cleanup, so our home (especially kitchen) would be move-in ready! I contacted Bonni, and she sent David back with a handyman, who repaired our gate latch AND cleaned our backsplash and all the cabinets, inside and out. One word - IMPRESSED. David told me they truly do care about their 5 star rating, and want to make their customers really happy. I really appreciate how they took responsibility, even after I paid them, to come and make things right. That really made me respect them even more (when they could've easily brushed it off, or do it "another time"). Now listen - they were the MOST EXPENSIVE QUOTE we got! Like bananas crazy expensive! BUT!!!! When my mother walked back in the home, she was agape. She almost had tears in her eyes as she's never had her home so impeccable, clean, arranged, EVERYTHING WAS ARRANGED! They even arranged her clothes and beds and little figurines and loose papers were stacked EVERYTHING! The basement looked livable. These guys are miracle workers - and the deep breath my mother took really made this experience worthwhile. I believe these guys, while expensive, went above and beyond and provided more than what we had in our contract. Thank you Bonni, David, Ben and the amazing help we had to make our home a brand new one... I cannot articulate to you Yelpers how clean they made this home. These guys were amazing! I called looking for a junk/clutter removal from my mom's house. She accumulated yearssss of junk and we had to get it out! Found this service online and after reading all the positive reviews, I decided to reach out for an estimate. Had Raul come out to my apartment to assess my 3 bedrooms that is full of things that needs to be cleaned out (hoarder status) and was told I'd receive a quote soon. Well a week had passed and I received no contact from them. I called and was told that the email was never sent. When they sent the email the quoted price was close to 5k (way out of my price range). I emailed them a few weeks later to say I wouldn't be using their services. I was expecting to receive a response back stating that maybe we could work something out. But instead, I received a thank you for contacting them and best of luck. I wish something could've been worked out because they seemed like a good company and I really needed the help decluttering my home so I can move. My search for help continues. read more

Each time, John and his team arrived on time and were very professional and quite affable. Part 2 of My Love Affair with Clutter Free Junk Removal Service & Cleanup Pros! So in my first review, Part 1 (dated 4/18/2020), I talked about how they left my soon-to-be new place immaculate by way of their Deep Cleaning package. Now...what would you do if you were moving into said new place, only you weren't just bringing with you a few trinkets here and there, you were literally bringing with you your whole life. A life time's worth of furniture, memories, etc... Well, if you're like me, you pack every single thing up and bring it right along with you to your wonderful new place and assume that the clutter will just magically go away by the grace of the gods of clutter, right?! NOT SO MUCH. So I was now in my Beautiful, CLEAN, Home...that is now cluttered beyond measure. OH YEAH, and in the middle of a pandemic. So now having to adjust to a new normal on so many fronts, I found it nearly impossible to sort and organize through all the chaos, it was too overwhelming. I knew at this rate I was going no where fast and started to feel really discouraged. I called Bonni and explained my situation--and as always, she was super supportive and understanding and assured me that I was in good hands. She immediately set up an appointment for a free in-house estimate/quote. Worth Noting: EVERYTHING IS CLOSED. And yet Raul and Rudy were able to come by that same week to assess my Beautiful Mess. They were both wearing all the necessary protection gear/equipment, so safety was definitely not an issue or concern. Clutter Free should advertise that they also do Interior Design because when all was said and done, I was so beyond Happy and Grateful, I couldn't put it into words. For the first time since moving, My house truly felt like a Home. They took care of all of my belongings with such care and respect. And they were able to separate all the items that were going to be discarded. And speaking of, remember my emotional items? Because of the space, I was convinced that I had to give up a dining room set that was precious to me and I was having a hard time accepting that this was the case. But "The Team" was determined to find a place for the set because they were confident that it could be done, even when I wasn't so confident, and sure enough, it is now in a picture perfect area. My Home now has such a different Energy: one of Love, Warmth, and Safety. I'm telling you, Nana, Oscar, and Franklin are MIRACLE ANGEL WORKERS. From the first phone call this service was wonderful. Bonnie in the office is very helpful and very pleasant and responds when she says she will. I had old furniture that was very large and very heavy and needed to be removed out of an apartment. The men that came from Clutter Free were amazing. They were patient and they laughed the whole time even though they struggled while trying to break the furniture in pieces that would fit in the elevator. They could not have been more polite or professional and I was very pleased with the service. They also cleaned up before they left as they had to saw the furniture in half and there was quite a lot of sawdust. When they left, my apartment looked better than when they arrived. Living in Texas and owning homes in NY/NJ area has been challenging. I recently went thru the eviction process with a tenant who wouldn't moveout. After our legal nightmare was over their personal effects were left abandoned. I called Raul and explained the situation. Being a home owner out if state was not an issue. I emailed our legal docs and asked them to proceed. Not only was he $500-750 cheaper than other places I called he was able to start immediately. I initially contacted Clutter Free for junk removal. I emailed them a list of items to be removed, and their quoted price was more than double compared to other price quotes I received. So I decided not to hire them for junk removal. However, I visited their web site and noticed that they also do interior painting. I need my walls repainted so I scheduled an appointment with them to come to my place in NYC to do an estimate. The lady that showed up took videos of my place and said she will go back to the office and provide me an estimate. Well ... I never heard from them again. No estimates, no follow up, no phone calls, no email. I hired another painting company instead. read more

Raul came and did an estimate. Out of three, they were priced right in the middle. I needed to have 3 bedrooms cleared out plus the attic and garage. I lived in the house for more than 30 years and there was a lot of accumulation. We discussed price and a day for the work to be done. Raul showed up on time with 5 men, and after 3 truckloads, and working from 9 to 5 with an hour off for lunch,afterwards-- the house was empty. It was as if someone had taken the house off the foundation and shook out all the contents. Three beds and dressers were gone too. I was impressed with the teamwork and the non-stop action. These guys are all Pro's. Now my North Flushing house will be fixed up and sold, yea! It's a family run business and I am absolutely happy I called them, you gotta check them out too ! read more

I used the services offered from the company twice on separate occasions, once to remove big furnitures and the other to have a moving out deep cleaning from a three bedrooms apartment, in both services I couldn't be happier or impressed on how above and beyond were the services rendered, they even scrubbed the walls. Very efficient and attention put into everything, even the smallest things, all done professionally with courtesy and kindness by Raoul and everyone who I encountered. The Clutter Free team was great from first encounter to last. I have zero complaints and only praise. We needed to get a LOT junk (wound up being two trucks worth) of stuff out of the house, namely the garage, the attic, and the basement. We also needed the basement to be power washed due to a septic tank back up a couple weeks ago. During the consultation, Raul and Bonnie looked through the areas that needed to be cleared and cleaned, and provided us an explanation about the cleaning process and what to expect. We were able to set up the removal and cleaning just a couple days later. The guys arrived right on time and started working right away. Having the junk that we did, including some really heavy and irregularly shaped items I was worried they wouldn't be able to get rid of it all, but they did and they did so neatly! They also made sure to ask us about which items to discard and which to keep. I cannot tell you the relief when they drove off with the last of our junk and those three major areas were CLEAR! The basement was also cleaned extremely thorough and any lingering odors are gone. They also cleaned up any mold that had found their way to the basement, an issue that we were not even aware of because of all the junk! (We will still need mold specialists but they got all the superficial mold out). I can't say enough except that it is now like being in a new basement. I really appreciate all their hard work and making such a huge project easy for us. I also appreciate Raul checking in the day before to confirm the appointment, and following up with us after the job was completed. I wish I had called them sooner. We're hoping the house stays "clutter free" but I would not hesitate to contact them again for smaller jobs (and hopefully never again such a big one). Thank you! read more

I had a family member pass away recently and needed to have his house cleaned out for resale. I chose this junk removal company after having a few different clean out companies over for estimates. They had no problem removing any of the extra clutter including appliances and jumbo furniture. The even hauled away the California king bed. They were available to work immediately which was a huge plus and the prices were exceptionally reasonable.
