Not only is Gerardo a consummate professional and always prepared with varied workouts customized to us - he is also an amazing person who is there to listen and get to know you. He continuously invests in new state of the art equipment and keeps an impeccably clean space. We always look forward to our sessions with him and for anyone looking for a trainer for yourself or a family member please give Gerardo and team a chance.

Well, I am well past my first 10 weeks with no end in sight. Gerardo has a unique talent for not only making workouts unique and interesting each time but he also knows how to inspire you to new heights of achievement. It's not just a workout but a new way of life --incorporating cardio, endurance, strength, power, and diet. I considered myself to be in "decent" shape but now, wow. I am back to hitting the treadmill at 10-year ago speed levels, playing basketball injury free, and even getting a good night's sleep. One more thing, my corporate schedule is brutal. Gerardo and I work out at 6am to fit my schedule. He always shows up with a big smile --ready to push me to the next level. I am enjoying the ride. It is absolutely worth every penny (but you better add in the cost of getting your clothes tailored too!).

Other helpful staff, adjusted my bike, shoes and explained how it works. It was my first time at a Soul Cycle and my first time in a looooong time cycling. I enjoyed the lighting changes in the class. I got to blow a candle and make a wish. It really felt special. Thank you for the experience. The location is 30 minutes from my home so I didn't join just too far for me, but I had a lovely experience there.

My partner and I decided to bring my sister-in-law for her first class, we called ahead to reserve the extra bike. Upon entry the studio manager Lauren Mallozzi was extremely standoffish and rude. Lauren will be the reason I will not be coming back to this studio because of her horrible customer service and inability to articulate an explanation for not permitting my sister-in-law to the studio. Lauren was more focused on her computer, gave me the wrong size shoes and completely lost sight of COMMUNITY/what SoulCycle stands for. I urge this studio to treat loyal customers better. There was no reason for her demeanor and dismissive energy.

Pole fit is something I've always wanted to try but after having a wrist injury, I waited until I…read morefelt confident in my own strength to try it out. I got my feet wet with a free classpass "intro to pole" class with Michelle and was immediately hooked. I'm someone that is more comfortable weightlifting than yoga or running, so the physical aspect of this sport is challenging enough to keep me interested and wanting to try better. But what really has sold me on this studio, and the reason I continue to show up, is the community. I've never been into group fitness and usually get turned-off by the concept of a "community" - but pole classes are really about lifting other women up...regardless of age, body type, fitness level, etc. As someone that has body dysmorphia and is constantly working on my body positivity, having a group of women there to cheer me on and tell me how amazing, strong, and beautiful I look is truly incredible. If you've been scared to take the leap because you're afraid of being embarrassed - believe me, everyone will lift you up (not physically, lol) and empower you to feel confident, strong, and beautiful. I look forward to every class with Michelle and am starting to incorporate more classes as well. I even cancelled my other gym membership to dedicate more time to the studio since I trust Work It Fit's cleaning procedures (currently writing in the pandemic) than I do with any other gym right now. If you've been looking for a sign - this is it: try it!

For the record. I HATE working out. It's not that I mind breaking a sweat doing something I enjoy,…read morelike dancing at a wedding or eating a really spicy burrito. I have just never gotten a lot of satisfaction from exercise for the sake of exercise. But I don't hate working out at OTF. In fact, there are several things I really like about it. 1) I like wearing the heart rate monitor. And since I am so out of shape I practically hit my target heart rate just pressing the start button on the treadmill, having my stats visible helps me to maximize my workout. 2) I like that I get a thorough work out (weights and cardio) in one hour. I could never do that in a regular gym on my own. 3) I like that they have classes offered at many different times. There seems to be something for everyone's schedule. 4) I like that you have to sign up for your class ahead of time, but need to cancel at least 8 hours in advance. That way if my alarm goes off and I think, "Mmmaybe not this morning." Too bad, so sad, get your butt moving. 5) I like that after each class, they email you your stats for the day, along with the cumulated stats for the week, month and year. It is like getting a gold star in your inbox! 6) I like - okay, I love - that in one month of working out there, I can already see and feel a change in my body. So even though I really don't like working out, there are fleeting moments during my day when I think, "Yay! I have an OTF class tomorrow."

I've lost weight, my clothes fit better, and I've gained noticeable muscle. But the real magic? It's how I feel after every class. Energized. Empowered. Clear-headed. It's a gift I give myself every time I walk through those doors. I used to hate exercise. I never thought I'd be someone who looked forward to working out--but here I am, genuinely excited for every class. I've finally found my "thing," and that's saying a lot coming from someone who thought fitness just wasn't for them. A huge shoutout to Ralph, Frank, and Jasmine--they're my go-to coaches and each one brings something special to the table. Ralph's motivation, Frank's energy, and Jasmine's perfect balance of challenge and encouragement keep me coming back. And honestly, every coach at this studio is amazing. The entire team is supportive, knowledgeable, and truly invested in your success. If you're on the fence about trying Orangetheory, do it. It's more than a workout--it's a community, a mindset shift, and a path to becoming your best self.
