There is nothing better than yoga "on the beach" except when you're on the beach and under cover! That's the best! We had yoga on really sunny, hot days and rainy days. It was just perfect! Always under the roof. Off season, you'll find me taking classes at the Brielle Library. Patty is fabulous and encouraging whether you're a beginner or experienced yogi. I have been to 4 different Pilates studios in the last 3 years seeing no results as far as the pain is concerned. It just seemed like I couldn't find an instructor that knew what they were doing. The pain was actually getting worse in some circumstances. Then I heard about Carly from Carlys pure pilates. I've been seeing her for 3 months now and the pain is completely gone. It's a true blessing to have finally found an instructor that knows what she's doing. She is a true godsend and for the first time in 10 years I finally feel human again. The studio is fantastic as well. She has four reformers and a Cadillac. I didn't even know what a Cadillac was before coming to her Studio. I have taken a barre class, Pilates, and barrelattes, which is a mix of the two. I recently took their barre crawl class two days ago. I am a member of ClassPass, so I paid $25 for the class. I arrived 10 minutes early. As soon as you walk in, they take your name and ask what size t-shirt you want. The t-shirt was so cute. It said "Meet Me at the barre," and it was a gray tank top with white lettering. I thought it would look very cute, but I didn't put it on because I like to wash everything before wearing it. Almost everyone else put on their t-shirts right away, except for about three other women. They had a choice of small, medium, or large. The first part of the evening was the barre class. Everyone got their shirts and went in for class. A woman with blonde hair helped me. She could be one of the owners or instructors, I'm not sure, but she was extremely helpful. She gave me a resistance band and a ball and helped me get the correct form. I really appreciated that because she noticed I was doing one exercise incorrectly, and she explained that it was why my back was hurting. The class was challenging. I would rate it about an eight out of ten, but I liked it a lot and definitely plan to come back. Everyone in the class was friendly. I don't usually talk to people in exercise classes because I'm still trying to build a regular habit, so I didn't know everyone, but the atmosphere was very welcoming. Part of the evening included little sample cups of smoothies. There were three different types and some snacks, which were nice. After class, everyone went over to the bar in the same shopping center, but I went home. Overall, I loved it. I've been to this studio a couple of times, and every time I enjoy the class. The instructors are very kind, answer any questions, and help you work on your form. I definitely recommend this studio. I almost forgot: After the workout, I saw many women wiping off their workout ball with hydrogen peroxide spray. So, this was a courteous and healthy gesture to do for the next guests. I look forward to my next class there!

She also walked around the room and adjusted people, more often than I have seen in other studios. Because of her good cues, you could listen to her and that freed her up to walk around.
