Went for a week in September, having read mixed reviews about this hotel complex. Was surprised and delighted to find it was much better than my expectations. The complex is made up of three hotels, each with it's own restaurant and swimming pool. The complex has tennis courts, a lazy river, table tennis tables there's loads more I just can't remember them all! Children are particularly well catered for even the younger ones there's a separate paddling pool but the name belies how good it is as it has waterfalls and water slides suitable for toddlers and the pool itself is only a few inches deep.
The food is very good each night there's a different theme. You can go to any of the hotels to eat not just the one where your room is. It's all buffet style and they have a separate vegetarian station. They also have a salad bar with more salads than you can think of and for me it was a delight to find they offered 5 different types of olives! There's also a section where the chefs cook the speciality of the night for you while you wait so, if it's steak for instance, you can get it cooked in front of your eyes just how you like it.
This complex is geared for families. Our room overlooked one of the performing areas and on our first night we were kept awake till 1am by a karaoke night (and the singing wasn't that good!) so if noise is going to be a problem for you, request a room on the side of the hotel that faces the outside.
There are buses to take guests to the beach and to the market throughout the day but, we found that this is only during the high season and tailed off to nothing during the week we were there, necessitating taxi trips. Taxis aren't particularly expensive but you wouldn't want to rely on them all the time.
All in all, this is an excellent choice for a family holiday. read more
