From check-in they work tirelessly to make sure your stay with them is an unforgettable experience. They are supremely knowledgeable about restaurants, things to do, and will give it to you straight like a local. The resort itself offers many things to do including classes, massages, and demonstrations. They will always hold a special place for me because they went the extra mile in everything they did including sending a bottle of champagne to our room for our celebrations. Our two story villa was incredible with a view to die for. The villa itself has a modern interior with a countryside aesthetic mixed within. It felt like a Beverly Hills duplex with the nice wood paneled floors and sleek kitchen/living room areas. Bathrooms were spotless with clean and spacious showers. One of the best parts is their strong A/C system which is a relief in the humid weather. Breakfast is excellent with jamon off the the leg of the boar. Various delicious pastries are also available. There's eggs, bacon, sausage too. Juice, fruits, coffee, and tea are also available. The pool area was also very nice and perfect for the hot weather. There's an area near the pool where dance classes are held and that was cool too. I also took full advantage of their nice clean gym area on the second floor. They've got free weights, swiss balls, and machines. Plus, it over looks the pool area and the rest of the island. I had a lot of fun here. What a beautiful hotel!…read more After the hustle a bustle of Barcelona, my family was more than ready to make our way to the island getaway portion of our trip. Artiem Audax was beautiful. It is located right, like literally right on Cala Galdana. The rooms were just the right size, even with three of us staying there. The bathrooms were very spacious and well stocked upon our arrival. Now Menorca (Minorca) is a very nature/outdoors oriented island and Audax was a prime location. As soon as you exit the hotel you can make your way to the beach (Cala Galdana) and it's about a two minute walk before you can get you feet in the beautiful blue waters. Then you can also head straight out the main entrance and meet a trail head that will take you around the outer portions of the island. It has some great views and photo ops! I believe it is part of the Cami de Cavalls. Audax is also situated very close to many restaurants and also a great little place that I rented a scooter at for a great day-venture!! This hotel featured a wonderful spa. Which my family was more than willing to partake on our last day there. Having never been to a spa before I was a little out of my element. But I would gladly go again! Over all I would have to say that if you are going to Spain, plan an island getaway, and stay at Artiem Audax. You won't be disappointed!!

As for the room, the only hitch is the front desk did not tell me I had to insert the card into a recepticle to turn on the lights! So I stumbled around in the dark until I located it. The balcony was huge, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was nice (minus a bathtub) mostly UK/German programming on the T.V. No clock or radio in the room - nice mini-fridge which I used a couple of days. Was not able to meet up with the activities person who was supposed to met you in front of the "activity board" near the time of said activity. I would have liked to go to AquaFitness, Trapshooting and Yoga. Bikes availabe for free or at a minimal charge. Morning front desk spoke fairly good English/ night time male clerks..not so much. Would I return? You betcha!

This secluded hotel is located right on a cliff overlooking the sea. The rooms are spread out among two buildings. The beach house which sits right in front of the water and another building which is more towards the pool. There is a heated pool, a non heated pool, jacuzzis, sauna, Turkish bath and plenty of lounge chairs in many locations among the property. Also, there are stairs leading down to the sea if you'd like to go for a dip in the Mediterranean! The whole property is very tranquil and relaxing. Just walking around the hotel grounds I found enjoyable, specially with the breathtaking views of the sea. From the moment we checked in the staff here was exceptional. Time to time they would check in and make sure everything was ok with our stay. The breakfast that's included is one of the best breakfast I've had at any hotel. You have to option to order hot dishes cooked to your preference. Omelettes, eggs Benedict, poached, scrambled, crepes etc. There is also a buffet style assortment of fresh fruits, meats, bread and more on the inside. Seating is outside where a server tends to you. Taking your orders for coffee and anything you'd like off the hot menu. I chose to get an hour massage during my stay and it did not disappoint. The therapist, who I wish I could name, did a tremendous job. She really was a professional in her trade. Prices are a little high but it's at a 5 star hotel what can you expect? I found it to be worth it because it made my stay even more relaxing. Now on to the rooms. We stayed in a double deluxe in the beach house. The interior is very nice and everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable too. I'll include some attached pics later. I feel like the pictures on the hotels website don't do the rooms justice. Our room was facing the sea. View was incredible. The sound of the waves so soothing we chose to leave the windows down throughout a majority of our stay. Overall, I highly suggest a stay at this hotel whether it's for one night or a whole week.
