Before I went to Club Houston the first time I had read a lot of reviews about rude staff, people cutting in line to get lockers and staff closing the maze during peak times. So I was a little leery about going the first time. Over the last year I have been a dozen times and staff has never been rude to me. As far as guys cutting in line, the line is for guys waiting for rooms as they run out at peak times especially friday night. There is no wait if you're just getting a locker. The staff does close the maze to clean and they ask everyone to go to another area till they are done and usually only takes about 15 to minutes. I have noticed some patrons getting upset about this. Myself appreciate them keeping the place clean. I have also noticed that they have to call out room numbers over the intercom to remind patrons they are past their checkout time. I have people get upset by this and claim they the employees are being rude. There are people waiting in line for these rooms and you are your checkout time when you get there. These people are being rude by not leaving when their allotted time is up. So take all that into consideration when reading the reviews. Wasn't able to find acceptable forms of ID online, so I stopped in and asked before my visit. Was told a state issued prison ID was an acceptable form of ID. When I actually returned, was denied entry. No big deal, just upset my time was wasted and there seems to be no set standard across the difference shifts. Do better! The employees will decide if they like you or not, and if they don't be careful. They will steal your belongings from your room. Phones, bags, wallets and anything of importance they can get from your room or your safety box. there is no lost and found so if you leave something They will take it home or throw it out. phone, wallet, keys, shoes, headphones, anything that you leave behind you will never see again no matter how important, They will invade your privacy and rally their regular customers to join in by looking over the walls at you in your room. They will tell customers to follow you and make vulgar rude gestures and statements to bully you into leaving. This is not a safe zone as it is advertised to be. When you try to report such harassment and wrong doing, they will yell at you and make you out to be a problem. The solution they gave me was to move my room. I agreed despite thinking the harassers should be punished, not me having to move rooms, but they only moved me to a room directly across the hall from my harassers so they would have an easier time of make sure I was miserable at the club. The worst part of all, is that it doesn't end within the walls of the club. Because you can't film or take pictures you can't collect any evidence to back your claims when they all deny any wrong doing along with the customers who are friends with the staff. Since majority of the gays in houston go to club houston and want to continue to go, they will go along with the scheme despite being adults who swear they would never bully a fellow gay. they continue to mess with you anytime they see you in public around Houston. Suddenly any and all gay spaces are unsafe for you and all gay people, innocent or not, are suspect to being another harasser. The lasting effects of this behavior are unmeasurable. Like I said, you aren't allowed to have cameras or video anything in the club so they are perfectly allowed to do whatever they want to you without fear of any consequence because all they have to say is "prove it" and they know you can't. I'm now having to change my phone number, move to another city/state and go into hiding because of the harassment the staff at this club have put me through. I know there's no way for me to get justice or anything that was taken from me by this horrible establishment, but if just one person escapes the torment I've had to go through the last month at least but probably longer, then that's a win for me. We should be leading with kindness and acceptable not treating each other worse than dirty simply because we don't find each other attractive enough. At least don't mentally torture someone for not being good looking or being insecure. Uplifting them, instead of tearing them down. And if that not enough, here a picture of how disgusting the ceilings are and so you can see how the walls can be peeped over and you can hear people in the other rooms but at a level you would get when recording form your phone. read more

OK, so there's so many things that went wrong with this and I'm gonna be completely honest and not actually give a harsh review to something that I feel people may say that don't deserve, but this definitely deserves. First of all I read these reviews before going to the club for my first time also I'm 21 years old so I was really nervous for me to go alone and just experience it and I went on a Friday night, anyways, I would like to to touch on the parking. The parking sucks. I drove around for like 10 minutes because the only places you could park and you had a walk probably at least 20 minutes away from the club and then finally finally I got a parking place at the club, which I think is really rare because it's always packed. It seems that way at least from being my first time. Another thing , well 2nd thing is this isn't really a big deal. But I was literally the only one there that was in the 20s majority of the guys were really really old no offense to anyone but not what I thought I would be running into. I did find a couple but they stuck to himself and it just wasn't that enjoyable I spent from I think the afternoon all the way till 8 PM maybe got a really good action with one guy and then that's about all, K number 3 is the place definitely needs to be taken care of a lot more than it is. There's a steam room that's on the first floor and it stinks like hell., and the maze where are you going to the video room, It's like really moldy on the ceiling. Not really healthy especially when you're in those type of environments doing those type of activities. It just doesn't seem healthy, OK 4th thing I genuinely thought that when I was reading a lot of of these reviews that the staff was just put up with a lot of rude people because of a lot of the guys that were at this club would go out to the front desk, completely nude, even though it is considered a nude free place it just didn't seem respectful to the people at the front so I can understand some rude interactions there, but the problem was no that wasn't the case because when I got there the first old guy, he didn't really seem rude. He just seems straightforward and then when I left a little bit early cause I was done with it all the guy really old guy that wears glasses was really rude. I was telling him it was my first time and that I didn't know that that's how that went because I know forgot to grab my towel. I didn't know where to put it and he was just really rude about it and I'm just like isn't the whole point of promoting the business trying to get the people to come back again, not push people away, especially first timers so they were definitely not nice in that situation but overall, if you can deal with the rude interactions with those old men from checking in and checking out and then put up with some nasty areas and maybe find the people you like yeah you can have a really enjoyable time. It seems their daytime run about maybe like eight hours I am assuming that's how long mine lasted almost , but I will say it's probably better to go late at night. There's probably a lot more action. But if you can get by all that you'll be fine, but it definitely would make the place a lot better if all those things were fixed. I'd also like to add, I felt really really uncomfortable because a lot of these old guys think they can touch you when you pass by them and it really made me sick and I'm not just saying this to say this, but it really kind of degraded me. I just think that a lot of people that do go to these things are more than creepy people probably worse cause I just felt really unsafe a lot of times. And I'm not trying to be dramatic but that's literally what happened probably like 10-15 times. read more

The place is surrounded by panhandlers and the tiny parking lot It's not efficient.Patrons aggressively take spaces with out their turn, 2 gays took the next available spaces when it was my turn, so parked my car at the entrance sort of in line just to make a sure that I'm next in the next available parking spot then some guy that works inside came out and started yelling profanities at me instead of addressing the situation accordingly. Some tips after going several times a month this year. If you just need a locker, there is never a line. The line is for people wanting a room when the rooms are completely booked and they have to wait for check-outs. Take an Uber or Bike if you can. Parking in the lot is scarce and you will be waiting for check-outs. If you take the train, the walk from McGowen or Downtown Transit Center are about the same walk (under 5min) and equally dicey, fyi. Street Parking is plentiful and seems dicey though I have not had any issues, and it is always in the back of my mind. Leave NOTHING visible in your car, not even a water bottle or a pack of gum. Again, it is best to Uber or bike there. The place is clean. They do random cleaning of the various areas and I appreciate it. The staff has always been friendly to me, I do struggle to hear them behind the glass at check-in because the music is a bit loud. The gym equipment is barely used and looks like anyone can get a great workout in. There are vending machines for snacks and drinks. Lube and toys etc. for purchase inside if you forgot to bring your own. There are also cold water fountains to cool you off from the steam and saunas. The showers are clean, and nice, the body wash could be a better scent, to each their own I guess. The patrons are a great mix of locals and visitors (mainly for business) with every spectrum of sexuality, curiosity, body shape, religion, ethnicity, and race. Quintessentially Houston. Everyone is there to have a good time. Be a gentleman, always. Smile and nod at the ones that catch your eye, see if they do it back and then have fun! read more

Had my first visit today. I was nervous because all the reviews talked about the staff, but the three employees I spoke to were all super nice. The man at checkin explained how everything worked, didn't make me feel dumb for not knowing. Younger guy was working the counter at checkout, very nice guy. And the custodial worker upstairs was very friendly and could tell I was lost and helped me figure out which way I was going. So for the main thing it does have plenty of variety, it kept pretty clean, and lot workout equipment if you use that. So it's March and they have a big pool and large hot-tub, but neither one heated so no one been using it at all on my 2 visits. The sling upstairs is sweet but no one got in it and is not used a lot, most people walk in circles for hours just walking. Once you find someone and start playing it like a bunch people start to gather around you so if that not thing plan on room. Anyways oh def park in there parking area which hard get cause it does have lot of people in bad situation on the streets so make sure if park there put anything valuable out view. I'm honestly not too sure why there are some negative reviews of this place. I was in Houston for two weeks, I went to this club three times, and it was great. Kinda makes me think that the negative reviews are from bitter old drama queens thinking that they're Elektra from Netflix's POSE or something. Seriously. I was there on a Thursday afternoon, a Sunday night, and a Tuesday night. I wasn't able to go on Fridays or Saturdays. They have a private parking lot, but it is not guarded. The place is down the street from a ghetto Greyhound bus stop, and there's plenty of homeless people walking around. Be sure to hide your valuables (or take them with you), and lock your car. I'm not sure if there is street parking available or not, because I was always able to park in the lot. The front desk people were totally cool. Then again, and I was nice and respectful towards them, so they were the same towards me. There is a six hour time limit for your visit, and you can opt for the cheapest fee which is just a locker. There are also different kinds of rooms available, too. I just got the basic room all three times, which had a single sized bed, clean sheet, pillow and clean pillow case. You pay your fees, and you can leave your wallet, phone, or whatever in a safety deposit box behind the counter. You are the only one with the key for that. HINT: they have a few vending machines that take cash and debit/credit cards. I put my wallet and keys in the deposit box, and took my debit card with me to use on the vending machines. I just put that card in my shoe in my room. This is probably one of the most ethnically diverse clubs of this type that I have ever been to (I'm from Los Angeles). Equal mix of black, white, hispanic, and asian. The age range was mostly 45+, but there was a handful of younger guys there, too. They provide condoms, but you'll need to bring your own lube, or you can buy some at the front desk. They also sell enemas, and other things. You can walk around naked, or you can get a standard size towel or a massive towel to wear around your waist. Be sure to bring sandals or flip flops. They have a full on gym! Other places that I have been to like this will have one, multi-station gym machine, and that's it. This place has free weights, barbells, dumbbells, cardio machines, benches, and a full array of weight training machines. It seriously has every type of gym equipment you'd need. There's also bathrooms and showers on the first floor, as well as a smaller dry sauna and rather large (and very steamy) steam room. There's yet another shower area (with rainfall shower heads) and then the large HEATED outdoor pool and a massive hot tub. Plenty of outdoor recliners on a sun deck, too. There is also a lounge area with comfortable chairs to kick back and back and talk with people. The private rooms are up on the second floor. Also on the second floor are another set of bathrooms and showers, and a huge dry sauna that's quite warm but not too hot. There's a darkened room with a sling, and a king size elevated mattress for a gang bang orgy in another darkened room. There are some glory hole rooms, and then an area with two-level glory holes. I think that this area is also known as the maze. The staff will close down certain areas of the club for a few minutes to clean and sanitize the area. They announce the pending closure of the area, giving you like a five minute warning. Some people get all uppity over this, but I think it's a great idea and I actually appreciate it. Sex happens everywhere, but no one is overly aggressive. The downside to this place? It's just over 1,500 miles away from where I live. read more

I've gone to a few different male-only establishments, I am very impressed with how clean this place is even when they are busy. Always met great guys, staff, and patrons alike. The tv wasn't working in my room, staff immediately went up and solved the issue. Never left without I recommend bringing sandals to walk around. read more

Long line with 1 guy working the door. Waited in line for 1 hour just to get inside the building. While waiting in line, I got annoyed by obnoxious older men who were harassing others in the line. After paying my money, the African American guy with the untamed afro caught a NASTY attitude & gone say "I need to listen & quit looking around worried about what the guys are saying in line." I gladly demanded my money back & my ID. You gotta work this damn job not me! I don't put up with horrible customer service. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO CLUB HOUSTON AFTER THIS TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I went a couple of days and had a fun sort of time. I did meet fun people and got to experience things. Some guests do have an issue with boundaries. Other guests just won't even say hi or nod in acknowledgement to an "Excuse me" when you pass or whatever. While my two days were fun, my last day was soured at the end. I saw negative reviews about rude staff, which hadn't been my experience. The last day a staff member quite rudely and angrily yelled at 2 guests for violating a rule regarding the jacuzzi. The rule is not posted anywhere, and both days that rule was never explained to me. Talking with some of the other 10 gentlemen in the jacuzzi at the time, they expressed that it was quite odd. I also didn't see the staff yell at the two separate times there were people smoking weed in the jacuzzi. Things were clean and I probably will be back. I think I would just ask that the staff have training in how to interact with guests when the staff may have become irritated.
