Well, one of my best friends used to work here when they were brand new. I'd come by & see her, hang around the gift shop, eat lunch with her, etc. I'm out of state now but a few of my best guy friends wanted my opinion of the best gentlemen's bars in Houston. I went right to this club. Then I looked at the photos. The pics are incredibly sad. When they 1st opened, they had an actual "waitlist" of dancers that wanted to work there. I know because I also sat in on some interviews. Going by not just the unattractive photos that show no outside landscaping, the reviews are far worse. Gentlemen bar club owners: get it together. Really nice place to go to. Good music, good food, and good atmosphere. Really strong drinks your get a bang for your buck with happy hour from 11-9pm $5 wells and beer. You can't beat that. Visited last night for the first time and had a great time. This place was laidback and chill. Drinks were reasonably priced for a strip club and they are STRONG STRONG. The waitress was attentive and very funny. Great selection of girls, all different types. I don't like going to clubs that only has one type of girl. Here there is definitely something for everybody. The waitress showed me the VIP and said they just renovated it, it's beautiful and very "intimate." Definitely a place I would want to go, if I had those big pockets to spend on a girl. I got a few dances from different girls. The dancers were friendly and made me feel welcome, most other clubs are rude to women and couples. This is definitely the place for couples to check out . This place is a car theft trap. My car was broken into while being parked right in front of one of this establishment. The owner tells me it's a dummy camera that hasn't worked for years. The security staff admitted how much theft occurs on this property over and over again. Seems like the establishment owner and staff are in collusion and agreement with the thieves. I have never been a regular to strip clubs, but I will accompany friends on wild nights out. I have never been scammed out of money at one until now. Congratulations Centerfolds you got me, and not only me. In one night, more specifically 6/29/18, Centerfolds charged me and a friend $700 each for a total of $1400 for absolutely nothing. No dances, no drinks, nothing zero zip. I will say that the waitstaff were great and most of the dancers were too, but it only takes one bad dancer and bad management to let the system fall apart. This is the sorry state of affairs for this club. I recently spoke to the General Manager Chris Malusa, who had a major lack of interest or concern that this took place in his establishment, therefore I will pass on the warning to the community. Do not risk losing your money on a business that has no respect for their patrons. There are plenty other alternatives in a five mile vicinity to even risk being taken advantage of. Even if you don't agree with adult entertainment industry, we should not, as a city as great as Houston, allow or support such a shameless business. It is so unsettling that this business is more worried about it's profits than it's credibility and integrity. I'm going to lose $700 unless my bank can fight them on the charges and there is no reason you should fall victim too. If you in anyway believe that your hard earned money shouldn't be stolen then I suggest easily moving your patronage to one of the other more respectable entertainment venues nearby. Don't support a business that unapologetically takes advantage of it's customers. It's now in the hands of Centerfolds and my bank to decide if justice will be served. If Centerfolds makes the right move then I will be happy to update this review, but until then I will be on the March to protect our fellow Houstonians, visitors, and traveling business professionals to steer clear. This is kind of "go to" club for me if I want some guarenteed attention. You get swarmed here. Very aggressive, so if that is not your thing, well, run. Place is usually well-stocked with girls, most of them attractive. The place does have sort of this dankness about it, and the buffet is...scary. But I have had some OUTSTANDING waitress service. I have never had a problem with staff. Evenings with $5 parking. Come on now, let's not get too greedy. I've been upstairs, and it seems a bit overpriced, but, hey, it's pretty much a wide open menu. Private. Even downstairs you can get pretty hands-on. Both ways. So if you are into a safe kind of sleaze, this place is great. It's no St. James, though. Why are most of these Reviews written by women? I went to centerfolds. They have a nice selection of women there. I usually go on Wednesday nights, and they always have beautiful women to choose from. Yes Most can be a little pushy, but most strip clubs are. And people do have a choice to either give or not to give the girls money. Its not like these girls are holding guns and robbing people. I normally tell them "Im waiting on someone" if im not interested...It works and yes its true, you are waiting on someone youre more interested in. The dances are $20 like most clubs and they only have 2 stages. One main and one smaller towards the entrance. Almost every time I go In there are a lot more Women than men there. A lot of them are really cool if you become a regular. I heard one girl tell me that they are a therapist while they work cause all the guys tell them about their problems. I smiled at that. If you go to their website they have pretty good drink offers. They also have opportunities on the weekends where you can come in for free at certain times. Which is good for those penny Pinchers who want to spend more on the LAYYDIES! Overall this club is good. Its a good chill spot. Good morning yelpers! Last night my friend and I went to Centerfolds. At least to the front door!! Then the rude cashier told us as we got to the desk and said we weren't dress properly. Which in doubt we were. I am a full Asian male. And my buddy is an African/American. This is relevant because the bouncer looked at my buddy and I quote,"You know you're not suppose to be here." DON'T COME HERE!!! The waitresses won a wrongful termination lawsuit a couple of years ago (age discrimination), so now they CAN'T get fired at all! The result: terrible service with horrible attitudes! The manager's are the worst I've seen in ANY business. They are obviously former bouncers who "moved up" the company ladder and have NO business background or customer service training. The only thing management seems to be interested in, is "shaking down" the dancers to get higher "tips" from them! Had a very bad experience here. The club is nice enough and is well located. It had some very good looking girls with an even mix of beautiful black girls and equal quality white girls. It went very bad very quickly with Morgan. She was a tall curvy white girl with long bleach blond hair with a height of 5"9". She was gorgeous a witty when we were chatting in the general seating of the club. We got to talking and I wanted to do a "Private" dance. The "Private" area was not as advertised.... It was another general seating area with other customers. Entry into this "Private" area was 60$ on this night and included a bottle of wine. I was informed that it is usually much much more @ 120. Before we went up we talked about the money for her time. We agreed on 100$. I paid for the bottle and then she asked that I pay her up-front.... this was a big big mistake!! (An expensive/stupid one too). I'm writing this review with complete sincerity to spare other victims. Once the money changed hands the clock was ticking... She immediately started to push and push for more money. She was sitting next to me and not dancing and just kept pushing and pushing. It was totally crazy! I said no about 20 times and was getting rather annoyed. This apparently went on for some time because she said "Well ok... time's almost up" and proceeded to give the lamest dance I have ever had at any club anywhere in the world! It was clear that she was not happy that I wouldn't give more and kept stopping her "dance" and asking "Are you sure? we can have more fun if you pay for 30 min more". She was very pushy and didn't stop even after I pointed out that she was being pushy and that this whole thing was outrageous! I informed her that I was done and wanted to talk to the manager. I talked to the manager and he was nice enough but was of no help... I wasn't given any money back, or any compensation for the horrible experience at all. Not even an apology. He was completely unsympathetic. The entire "confrontation" was very civil and the manger and the dancer were respectful. (There was no yelling/shouting/ect.) ...Yet I was still ripped off for 10$ valet, 12$ cover, 60$ entry to the "Private" area, 20$ for the bartender's tip, and 100$ for Morgan's time. I have never had an experience like that at a club... There were some great girls here and I had some great conversations. If only they could find a club that wouldn't allow this. I would highly encourage people to avoid this club! read more
