Prior to the service call I was asked detailed questions about the repair in order to plan for any parts that may be needed. I was asked for a convenient time for me for the repair! Jamal kept me informed of the status of arrival which is most appreciated. Jamal, after repairing the dryer, ran it as well as the washer to assure everything was working properly. My opinion of service has changed since working with The HomeWorks Repair Service. They made me feel valued and respected. The entire process was as delightful as it could have been. I am comforted knowing that I now have a person to call for appliance repair who I can trust and look forward to working with! The HomeWorks Repair Service is highly recommended.

My 8 year old freezer had died last summer…read more I had gone back and forth about replacing or fixing it. With spring approaching and no desirable new ones in my price range, I had called Homeworks after viewing these reviews. Excellent. We are fairly new to the area and haven't needed any repairs to our newer appliances…read morebut, our dryer is 30+ years old and stopped running. In the 30 years we've had it there were never any issues or problems, until one day it just stopped working. We didn't know who to call for a repair on this old machine, an original Maytag, and a model that is no longer sold. No electronics, no bells and whistles, just an old workhorse. We didn't want to scrap it because of the quality build. We needed someone who knew about older machines as well as the newer more electronic ones. We are so happy we called Bob at Canton Appliance Service. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, had some parts with him and within a quick half hour or so, the dryer was repaired, cleaned and reassembled. He was prompt, courteous, reasonable, and a good value. We couldn't be more pleased with our choice for a repair person, Bob is a good choice for all older machines and of course all the newer fancy ones.

We couldn't do same day, so we met the following morning. Just as hoped, the guy kept it straightforward, honest, helpful and as described. A little context: Originally Sears was out (yes, they still exist). Having repaired a few refrigerators, garage doors and operator control boards myself over the years, I knew things weren't right with these Sears guys (yes, plural -- well, one in training, poor sod). They weren't dishonest, really, just excessive. Especially with cost (...pretty obviously constrained by dinosaur policy -- what felt geared towards getting a fleeced customer to buy a new appliance from Sears). The Sears guys estimated a four-figure two-man project, including for two off-the-shelf generic machine screws, $37 each, parts only. (Still had to pay them for coming out.) Bless their little hearts. I can see how people get bamboozed by this blue-shirted Sears "professionalism". Hearing good things, I contacted Daniil. And in a little more than a day, paid an eighth of the price for way more, better, no-nonsense, good natured, in-and-out service. With warranty. (Sears' job was to be "As-is" for an older-ish appliance in excellent condition.) We're grateful, Daniil -

They arrived on time and their work was reliable. That's really all you need from appliance repair. However, Tom was honest with me each time and I never felt taken advantage of. That's what makes all the difference and what separates them from the competition and from previous bad experiences with appliance repair companies. Prices are fair. Also, each time I was shown exactly what the problem was, sometimes going out of the way to help me see and understand the problem. I really value this. He also communicated if parts needed to be ordered and how long that would take giving me updates by phone if it took more than a couple of days. My experiences with Apple Appliance have been stellar. I'd recommend them without reservation.
