In the 30 years we've had it there were never any issues or problems, until one day it just stopped working. We didn't know who to call for a repair on this old machine, an original Maytag, and a model that is no longer sold. No electronics, no bells and whistles, just an old workhorse. We didn't want to scrap it because of the quality build. We needed someone who knew about older machines as well as the newer more electronic ones. We are so happy we called Bob at Canton Appliance Service. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, had some parts with him and within a quick half hour or so, the dryer was repaired, cleaned and reassembled. He was prompt, courteous, reasonable, and a good value. They arrived on time and their work was reliable. That's really all you need from appliance repair. However, Tom was honest with me each time and I never felt taken advantage of. That's what makes all the difference and what separates them from the competition and from previous bad experiences with appliance repair companies. Prices are fair. Also, each time I was shown exactly what the problem was, sometimes going out of the way to help me see and understand the problem. I really value this.
