They are a young business, but is building a fantastic reputation and are currently building up their stock list with some amazing products to choose from. One of my favourite items is the hexadome and crossover marquees. I used them for a community fair and I got constant compliments about how amazing they looked. They are very stylish and unique in the market in Adelaide. They light up like a big glowing bubble with the use of strategically placed lighting. It is so nice to use something different to the normal pavilion or marquee. I have also used their awesome LED furniture. Once the lights go out, they create such a cool colourful disco effect. Would you believe that they even come with remotes to change their light settings! This is the future baby! Great customer services and support from the team. I definitely recommend speaking to them if you need something fun for any sized event or party!

This place was pretty packed out, but then again, it is Christmas time in a couple of weeks. They should have named the place Starlight Christmas and Easter Superstore and perhaps expand the target market slightly and arouse more interest outside of the festive season. There is so much cool stuff in here, and they staff are very helpful also. Remember, Starlight Christmas Superstore isn't just for Christmas... Ah, Actually it is.
Starlight Christmas & Party Superstore looks a little dingier than most party stores, but it is…read morealso cheaper than most party stores. A year or two ago a party store opened in City Cross Arcade stocking all sorts of schmick Toy Story/Dora the Explorer/Sesame Street branded party gear that was ridiculously overpriced considering it was all mostly plastic cups and plates, doomed to be binned the next day. Starlight is the antithesis of that. It is a little bit shabby, but affordable - you don't need to shell out a thousand bucks on a 21st/anniversay/Christmas dinner etc. They specialise in Christmas gear, so you can get loads of Christmas lights and tinsel and whatnot. They do their own little Christmas display in a big dark room (or a 'Christmas Cave') too, which strikes me as somewhat odd - but I guess if you're an X-mas enthusiast then you'll wanna see the gear in action. As well as Christmas stuff, they've also got a whole lot of other party/novelty things - straws, plastic plates, table cloths, battery operated candles, cheap helium balloons, masks etc. A fun place to visit if you're really really into parties, Christmas, or plastic novelty crap.

The prices are incredibly reasonable with lunchtime mains costing from $9 to $14. This means that you could potentially have a three course lunch (including a drink) for $20, which is probably the best price I have come across (this includes the free soup of the day as an entree). They also have a small (but nice) salad bar that has a soup of the day special, small bread rolls, garden salads, potato salads and fresh vegetables (no pasta salad unfortunately but the other salads made up for that). When I went for lunch, I had a lamb shank, it was very tasty and was served with a nice creamy mash potato. Vegetable sides could also be grabbed from the salad and vegetable bar. For $12, the food is around what you expect however is quite pleasant and was seasoned and prepared well. I also had a $6 dessert afterwards, which was an excellent chocolate cake. The cake had incredible flavours and was presented very well. They also have a nice soup of the day available from the salad bar. The soup that was there on the day was very nice, in fact I would go as far as to say one of the best mushroom soup's I have ever had. The staff were also very attentive, easy to talk to and the atmosphere was excellent. I have also been here on a night time where they have the same sort of menu and tried some chicken from their stonegrill menu (this menu is excellent and I would highly recommend it). They also have entertainment on the weekend with a stage and a dining hall. Overall, a good dining experience and the function center remains a great spot for a good feed without opening your wallet too far at all.

There is no fuss and I always feel relaxed when I come here for the V8supercars. I was able to get a rock star parking spot for the car. My sister Deb and son Rory appreciate the closeness of the parking spot today. If your a fan of excitement, noise and fast cars of all categories this is the place for you. Adelaide is a relaxed place to be. It has a good variety of restaurants and coffee houses and pubs. With a short trip to the hills for scones with jam and fresh cream it definitely has lot to offer. Yes it is also the place that has many revheads and Bogans. God knows W.A.has its fair share of them too. Clipsal 500 V8supercars Adelaide. Great four day weekend, even though I was only here three. There we are every year having this fantastic festival season with people in the city all night, catching shows and live music, and Adelaide has this great summer festival vibe... and then Clipsal comes and takes a big dump on our fair city. When I worked in accommodation Clipsal was my most dreaded week of the year: the hotel would be filled with pissed men who had no regard for the people around them because they were just visiting and frankly, this event only encourages them to act irresponsibly. The promotions are seedy, the patrons are seedy, the grid girls are seedy, the whole thing in seedy. I wish Melbourne would take this gross misadventure back so we could all enjoy the festival season without the requisite dust cloud that is Clipsal.

You can get an $8 toastie which is so, so good or something bigger that will involve above mentioned items. On weekends there are bloody marys with Fino sherry. Yum. After breakfast you can shop then come back and take advantage of the very delicious small plates and tapas whilst you take a break from your market shop. Or paella. They agreed that this was possible. 3 weeks before the function I wanted to change one of the drinks and they would not return my calls despite trying 3-4 times. When the finally got back to me via email they were rude and told me that "this was a service" they did not provide. Besides obviously not wanting the job anymore, the person who wrote the email was extremely rude. They have put me under significant stress, one week before my function, having to find new staff. Perhaps they are good for corporate events where people spend big dollars that aren't theirs. For the simple customer, I found their coordinator rude and horrible. At $45 an hour rate per staff that they were charging, I found this absoloutely unjustifiable. I cannot believe they they are still in business! I would not treat anyone like this.
