About $1000 later, my pup went to med vet who removed the cast and said the x ray was misread. When I tried to get my money back, little Timmy wouldn't give it to me. Done with him. He's very short and rude. What I call little man's syndrome

Dr Fouts is knowledgeable and caring with my pets. I have been through some very rough times with them such as a difficult euthanasia and a pet with a chronic illness and they have made the experience wonderful. The front desk staff are rockstars and know me by name when I come in. They are friendly and engaging. I have interacted with Dr Hopping, although she has not seen my animals, and she seems great as well. The hospital is beautiful and clean. If I need a medication or food they look into ordering it for me. Their prices are reasonable. My pets actually enjoy coming here, as do I. Calls and lab results are returned promptly and appointments are easy to obtain. They do some neat adoption events and open houses through out the year, so keep an eye out for those. I really could go on and on, but you have to see for yourself. If you want the best care for your pet, this is your place!

I brought my sweet girl, Elsa, in to see Dr. Bard a few weeks ago because she had developed a…read morehematoma on her ear. During the consultation with Dr. Bard, she appeared nice and answered my questions and concerns about having Elsa put under general anesthetic to have a procedure to drain the hematoma. She's an old girl and I was worried about it. Dr. Bard eased my fears and I felt it was Ok to go on with the procedure.I requested a prescription for Nexgard at the time. When I picked Elsa up later that day the secretary, Jeannette, explained the fees to me. $497 which included two follow up visits, additional ear swabs to ensure effective treatment of her ear infection, re-bandaging of the ear if necessary, pain medication, and suture removal. The first appointment was set for follow up (ear swabs and additional treatment, if necessary) for a time when I would be out of town and it was explained to the staff that any additional treatment, etc. would need to go through me as I am the dog's owner but that my husband would be bringing her in. When my husband brought her in today she seemed skittish and untrusting of the technician. At the time we were told it would be an ADDITIONAL $112 for swabs and extra antibiotics (mind you the original line item charges for this same treatment was only $66). My husband was confused and called me, put me on speaker phone and asked for the technician, etc. to speak to me about what was going on with Elsa because as the dog's owner I am the one who would be making any decisions. The technician and Jeaneatte got irritated with me trying to clarify the cost of the treatment as I was under the impression (and have a receipt for, that includes the swabs) the follow up care for Elsa. I had previously been assured that the follow up visit minus additional antibiotics were included in the cost of the hematoma package. This is noted on the receipt as "no charge." My poor husband was trying to get the tech to listen and I guess was following her holding out the phone asking her to speak with me and I was asking for a written prescription for the medication, which she refused. Dr. Bard then came out (I am on the phone this entire interaction) and stated "You are harassing my staff, you need to leave." No harassment was taking place. Poor customer service and an inability of multiple staff members to simply answer clarifying questions with a level of defensiveness that is mind blowing is what was taking place. I hung up the phone with my husband and called the main line to speak with someone, anyone, who could answer me what just took place because at this point it felt like they were holding my dog hostage for an additional $112 and that is not OK. After multiple calls, and being hung up on by Jeanette for simply asking to talk directly to the veterinarian that my dog was under the care of I was told I would get a call back at 7pm, I did not receive a call back. It is apparent that no one here understands common decency or customer service and simply wants to milk patients for every cent without offering a modicum of respect or dignity to their paying clients.

My ferret had been loosing hair and seemed uncomfortable so I made an appointment. My first visit was during the earlier days of the pandemic, so I have never been inside as they are offering curbside only. The procedure was to call upon arrival. A tech will come out and take a history and then take your pet inside to be examined. After the exam, the Vet will come out and discuss the findings with you. I could not have been more impressed with my first visit. They were forthcoming that she was actually a HE (mistold by the rescue I got him from), and that he had been a bit bitey. They took a really cute picture of him in a comfy spot he posted up in, to show me. I like the attention to detail there. The vet had some theories, gave me some different options, and offered to do a little more research. We paid and returned home. In the coming day the vet, during his day off, called me with some results of his research, and then called me a second time with more. I was very impressed by how he seemed to go out of his way for just a ferret. We settled on a course of treatment and I returned when it came in, to have the injection. All went well, and behold... his fur begin to return! Fast fwd a few months to my next visit with a sick ratty. For some reason it didnt go as smoothly. A procedure was recommended, for which I opted to do (requiring anesthesia). They said via phone he was not waking up very well, but when I arrived to pick him up, I was really blown away by how bad he really was, and the fact that they were sending him home this way. When I got him out of the carrier at home I just couldn't believe it. I wished theyd been more straightforward, as he was suffering and euthanasia should've been mentioned. Sadly it was after closing and he died in my arms a few hours later. The hospital called for an update, and I called back a few days later after I calmed down to simply let them know he passed. I never received a sympathy card or any remark from the Vet which I was really surprised and disappointed about. I guess my bottom line after having a few months to really think about it is, I am still torn. They have given my ferret great care, on several occasions as it is an ongoing health issue. However it was a more simple issue. My ratty deserved better. Their prices are very reasonable for exotics, but perhaps they are more "dabbling" in them than really specializing. I cannot speak to their care of dogs and cats. The hospital sits on a hill in a charming Victorian house.

When you call the number, it doesn't have any sort of option to get information. So I went to the "book a service option", and it sent me to Clermont Country Animal Shelter (which was closed!). If I was in actual need of an Emergency Vet (rather than just looking for the closest one), this would've wasted precious time. I normally don't post negative reviews, but this business has no useful information, and I hope that this review saves someone's furkid precious time so they can look elsewhere.

I was in panic mode and when I went in at 4:45pm they wouldn't look at my dog and told me to go to an emergency vet 40 min away. Luckily I had given her benedryl before going. I did get upset as our pets are our children. My reaction was cussing at her for being so heartless and I screamed in the parking lot in frustration when she would not help. All fairly normal being my dog was swollen and acting largethic. Worst part is a month later I made an appt to get shots updated and the same girl got confrontational with me as if she didn't understand why I was upset that day. Why didn't they just cancel my appt? How rude to have me come in to lecture or put me in my place? She really thought I'd use her services and pay for shots with the attitude she was still giving me for being over protective of my dog child when she was having an emergency. Still said she was protecting her legal status over helping my dog was the right thing. LOL. I told her to f off again with no regrets. This place is the most uncaring facility for pets. Best wishes and good luck if your dog ever has an emergency.

She has had persistent yeast issues that require the same drugs every time. Recently she has had another flair up and we tried to request the prescriptions from chewy.com. The vet denied her prescriptions and requested to see her for the 3rd time for the same issue. She told my husband she would work with him because we've been charged so much for the same thing repeatedly. Instead of helping, they charged us $400 this trip. When I compared the drug cost, they charged us $150 over what chewy.com would've charged us for the same prescriptions. Such a SCAM!!!
