I unfortunately cannot speak highly on the massage. I was REALLY disappointed with it for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it felt INCREDIBLY rushed throughout the entirety of the process. I completely understand that there is only one hour to do a full-body massage, but that doesn't mean you can rush to a point where I am unable to even relax. I have received many one-hour, full-body massages in my life and this one felt like I was being massaged by a very inexperienced person (although I understand she is licensed). Secondly, the experience felt very unprofessional, as if there was no rhyme or reason to what was happening during the service. Cindi mentioned a couple times that she was physically tired from the holiday rush, so I already felt shortchanged. Regardless, please do not charge $60 for a service that you cannot perform to your best ability. If you know I'm paying and you don't feel your best, please still take your time and try to provide a relaxing experience. The whole experience felt very chaotic and I felt very taken advantage of. I feel terribly writing this review, but for $60, I must say it's not worth it. I normally will tip no matter what happens (bad haircut, bad nails, bad food service-- because I do believe in tipping and in treating people well), but I was truly so disappointed and confused as to what I had just experienced that I simply could not add more than a couple dollars additional tip.

This isn't a big chain with a flat screen tv in the waiting room, however, from the moment I walked in Laura radiated warmth and comfort. She introduced herself to me and asked a lot of questions to understand what my concerns were and what I needed. She made suggestions yet wasn't pushy or domineering as some of the local competitors tend to be. It was all about my personal comfort. Her studio is clean, relaxing, fragrant and the perfect space in which to get out all of the kinks. I hurt my lower back this week and it not only knocked me out of commission with my regular routine, but it made the rest of my body tight and achy because every muscle was over compensating for my aching back. Laura did such an amazing job on me, I felt like a million bucks after. On a side note, Laura practices Reiki. I am not even going to pretend to know what that is, but she said two things to me about my root & heart chakras that were so spot on that it was actually mind blowing! She is located on the upper floor of a chiropractor office. The room is appropriately and calmly decorated to provide good energy. There is little to no sound from the outside and others in the building. She talked to me before the massage to review the information I had provided on the intake form, asked me specifically about my needs, and talked about some of her techniques. During a massage she asked about pressure and my level of comfort with the temperature of the warmed bed. I walked out a new and better person. Her various techniques, ability to read energy and know my needs and focus on problem areas transformed me back to my aligned, energized self. I do not believe the therapist with long reddish hair is formally trained. I am a retired esthetician of 18 years, who's had massage all over the world, from beach stalls to five star hotels and this experience was shockingly poor. First, I started face down but my headrest was too high so the therapist kept banging into the bottom of my head to access my neck. She seemed oblivious to this and unaware that an adjustment was needed. I scheduled a 60 minute classic massage because I just wanted to relax. I did not request stones but suddenly the massage stopped. Without saying anything she left the room to retrieve stones that were much too hot for my skin and that I did not want. Then to top it all off, she stuck her hands in my hair and started rubbing my scalp. I was actually shocked because everyone in hospitality knows that you NEVER touch a client's head, stomach or breast without verbal permission. These are highly personal potential trigger areas. When she asked me to turn over she never moved from the top of the table. A privacy towel was not held up. (What school did she graduate from??) I thought she would begin working my neck and shoulders which is why I came, but she stuck her hands back in my hair. At that point I asked her to stop. If she has a legitimate license she needs to practice on co-workers to improve her performance. But I'm assuming the other therapists are better. Hopefully they are.

Even when she's not working on me, I still incorporate different techniques that she has taught me into my daily life that continue to make a difference. She is extremely talented, I highly recommend her to anyone seeking individualized treatment in massage, Myofascial Release, and Craniosacral Therapy.
