I open the app 40 minutes before the tour. It tells me the tour starts at the church next to the One World Trade. Ok so we trek over to St Paul's chapel at 9:45. No one to be found. Waiting around until I check the app about 9:55ish (tour starts at 10) and notice it says to message in the app messenger for specific meeting location. So I shoot a message. I wait until 10:15 and still no response at which time I decide to just go ahead a go buy new tickets. I don't get a message back from Nina B until 1:45pm (3 hours and 45 minutes after the tour starts ) telling me it's my fault I didn't check the email even though the app tells you to communicate and get the tickets in the app. She would not accept any responsibility and refused a refund. So I had to do a charge back, which I obviously won. See my communication times and screen shots below. BEWARE AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I told you I would get my money back Nina B

The stories the can tell about New York is non stop and rich in history. I used to think New York was a dirty and scary place as it is depicted in the news and movies. Boy, was I wrong. Very wrong. Took this tour while visiting with my mom for a long weekend. We opted for this tour instead of the…read moreothers because it stated there was a one hour boat ride to see the Statue of Liberty. However, it was actually just a ferry ride, which is free, with no real organization of getting on except for running and making sure you can see the tour guide and then getting off to instantly to catch the next one back as soon as you got there. This should be explained in the details. Additionally, you do stop at the places mentioned but you do not get access to go into anything. For the Brooklyn Bridge it was basically just walking to the front for a photo and leaving. Same for Grand Central Terminal, you go in and walk around quickly while he explains a few things. For $220/pp, I expected a bit more. Martin was our tour guide and he was great. His voice was loud and he knew what he was doing. Just keep in mind that you should honestly be in shape for this tour because you are consistently having to jog/run to keep up with the tour guide to stay on schedule. I would not recommend for anyone who cannot keep up. All in all, we had a smaller group, so it felt more intimate and it was nice meeting others from different countries and states. And you are able to get nice pictures throughout.

He came to NYC as a teen in1922, you will see a handful of his sculptures in some of the buildings and airport. This museum has three floors and a basement, museum store and a garden. Today's admission is free due to 4th of July celebration. Museum's gallery section is unique and different from one another. Visitors are not allowed to take flash photography and touch the sculptures or art display. However, being me I put that to the test. Hehehe. Staff were obsequious and professional. Free wifi. Plenty street parking. Admission is affordable. Overall, I had a nice experience discovering Isamu's art.

It was cool to see the renditions and actual models of what could have been for our city. A friend I visited with works in theater and is a fan of Martha Graham's work so she was pretty excited to learn that Noguchi is the artist behind many of Graham's stage productions. The museum spans two floors and a peaceful outdoor garden area, where a group of us sat and took in the ambience for a while. You can get through the museum pretty quickly if you wanted to but the space really invites you to turn off the business of the mind and while away the hours here. FYI there's no cafe on the premises and there's no food or drink allowed in here, but the staff pointed us to a lovely stretch of cafes just a block away.

The open top is a great way to see the buildings especially when it's your first time to the city. The recorded running commentary is informative and witty. This year we again did one day on the red route and one day the blue route. Great experience- especially Denise and Wanda!

When I mentioned we had limited time on the second day, he said he'd make it a 3-day ticket instead. When the ticket printed still showing 2 days, he assured me it would be adjusted. I was suspicious but purchased anyway. The next morning at check-in, we explained it was supposed to be a 3-day ticket, not two. The staff member said there was nothing he could do. That evening, I tried customer service chat. After wading through useless automated responses, I finally got a human. The initial responses weren't great, but I was eventually told to email a photo of my receipt, which I did. As of the following day, I still haven't received a response. The chat experience itself was frustrating -- it kept bouncing back to a bot even while I was mid-conversation with a live agent. On top of that, we purchased 4 tickets but were only given one ticket/receipt for the group. This means we can't split up and travel separately, and customer service had no way to accommodate this. In this day and age, that's unacceptable. Bottom line: Be careful when purchasing -- the street salespeople are not trustworthy, and once they have your money, support is minimal to nonexistent.
