So very loud it gave me a headache and really hurt my husbands ears (he has tinnitus) to the point that he had to cover his ears with his hands the whole time. Jason Crabb sang and the words were beautiful, but again so horribly loud it was painful. We were hoping to at least enjoy the pastors message but he was so loud it was unbearable and we had to leave. We were told to use earplugs when we were leaving but I have birth defects in my ears and can't and WHY does the service have to be so loud that earplugs are offered or necessary!!!!

While I realize your intentions were good they were missing the true teachings of God. Sunday is the Lords day. A day to honor and worship to God. It's his holy day. I felt that God was not fully honored. This way Of teaching may be ok for children ages 3 to 8 but not on a Sunday. Maybe on a Wed. Nite service. Also you had brite flashing lights like on a Broadway musical And dancers up on stage and one lady(last week) dressed in a very small outfit that had sequins and was not appropriate in showing God honor. The flashing lights From what I ve read in previous reviews cause people with health issues to have seizures. And I can testify that the music While I too love loud music this made my chest vibrate. Please know I know many of Your members and I love them as well as all of you and I ve been in much prayer about this and asked God to guide in my words not to offend but only to advise. Not sure who, but they're probably French. What I love about this church is the massive cross they have put on the highway which everybody can see going by. It's a real landmark and it's very cool. Anything like that, which gives a city character, and memorable iconic images, can only be a good thing. I grew up in the SDA church but my husband is not SDA and he mentioned a few things he enjoyed that were not typical of the SDA churches we've been to--The table seating (no rows) and come-as-you-feel attire was a pleasant surprise. He was nervous wearing jeans because he feared it wasn't "sda church appropriate" but he relaxed when he saw the pastor wearing jeans, too! He also pointed out the way the offering and tithe was collected was different-no "God needs our money" spiel. When we come back to the Chattanooga area, we'll definitely attend again.
