I have been going to this church now for seven Sundays in a row. I actually wake up on Sunday looking forward to going.. the people here are amazing, so Lee and helpful. I hadn't been to church in quite a while. I decided it was time to start looking for one because it would probably take me a long time to find a good one. I came here today for a fireworks show and car show. So, this review is based on just this part. However, I did meet a nice couple who are members of this church while here. Kelly and Jessica just came up to me while I was getting out of the rain. They invited me back and told me about the church member services they offer as well as information about the church. Now, the car show they were having was out in the parking lot and I enjoyed seeing the cars. I even talked to some of the owners who were sociable. In regret, the fireworks show was cancelled because of rain but they took my number and promised to call me when rescheduled. The church also was selling food plates for only one dollar. I would have tried it if it wasn't for me just eating dinner at Champys. But, it looked like a good deal with hot dogs, chips and etc. In summary, this is a southern baptist church and I want to come back and visit not only for morning worship but for other reasons. There is some history to be discovered here that will prove quiet interesting. read more
