I had a great experience at 1021 Westend Dr, Temple TX, 76502. The property was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as expected. The owner & management team was friendly, responsive, and made the entire experience easy. It's clear they take pride in keeping the property in great condition. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place. read more

Viewed a home today and saw visible mold growing in the HVAC closet. While returning the keys we spoke with the property manager about our concerns and if it would be fixed before move in. Her response was if we already have concerns we should just look at a different property. Mold is a very serious thing. We are moving because our house on Fort Hood is full of mold and we are losing everything. Last thing we wanna do is move into another mold contaminated house. Whoever is the homeowner should be made aware that this company is mismanaging their home. read more

Staff is friendly.but I have to say this.. they must send out a survey and if you answer wrong or give a bad review cause you are confused about what work is going to be done as far as maintaining the property.. the remove that contractor and nothing gets finished. I am u happy about that. I liked the contractor and now nothing is complete. Other than that everything is ok.. nothing special read more

We've used Cloud to manage our Killeen rental for over 6 years. They have stayed on top of maintenance issues and have done a top notch job of screening renters. We were living across the country and it was a huge help to not have to worry about any aspect of our property. Molly has been our agent all along and we couldn't have been more pleased. Recently we decided to move back to the area and reoccupy the property. Molly worked with me to have new carpet installed before we arrived and have the house painted. This was a huge help and well above what we would have expected from a management company. Huge kudos to the entire team, and should we need to rent the house out again we will absolutely be calling Molly and the Cloud team. read more

HORRIBLE!!!! I made this account just to leave this review. If i could give negative stars i would. This is the worst company with awful employees. Molly in particular is a rude and stuck up women who should not be running that business. Don't expect anything to get fixed in a timely manner. They charged me for foundation damaged caused by structural issues from the building it's self. I reported several times there was a mice and cockroach damaged and they said it was my problem. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. I promise you it's not worth it. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. I literally plan on taking them to small claims court for the bs that they pulled. They have been full of crap from the moment that we signed a lease with them. HORRIBLE COMPANY. JUST LIKE THE PREVIOUS REVIEWS STATE... THIS COMPANY IS MONEY HUNGRY. IF YOU RENT FROM THEM THEY WILL TRY TO BLEED YOU FOR AS MUCH MONEY AS THEY CAN. There was cat hair in our carpet and on our socks for the first 6 months that we moved in. We asked if they cleaned the carpet after the last tenant and they said yes. But that was obviously a lie. They tried to charge us $300 for a garage door opener when they only cost $15 at Lowe's. We just bought our own and kept them after we move out. Because why tf would y'all not give us garage openers when we moved in?? I'm for sure not giving the one that I bought to the new tenant. Additionally, they charge excessive fees if things are fucked up in the house even if it's not your fault. They made us pay a double deposit at move in and claimed that as roommates, we had 2 separate leases (but its still one lease at the same time) was their exact wording. First of all B**** is it 2 leases or is it one lease?? Make it make sense. Not to mention normally when you renew a lease the rent goes down for renewing. Nope, our went up an additional $75 a month when we signed a new lease. Also, when we moved out they charged us over a 1,000 dollars for all types of non sense. $350 for "cleaning" alone. Mind you we spent hours and hours cleaning that house when we moved out. WTF costs $350 to clean in an empty house??? I bought a house and moved down the street from the house that I was renting from Cloud. Turns out that they installed a new fence and all types of stuff for the new tenant. I think they used some of our deposit to do repairs that had been needing to be done for a long time because we were never offered a new fence when we moved in. We just dealt with that rickety ass old one. They basically used us and our excessive deposit to fix up the house real nice for the next tenant. Molly the manager is trash. She tries to play nice cop but in reality she just be talking out her ass. DO NOT LEASE WITH THIS COMPANY PLEASE PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!!! I SWEAR IN A YEAR YOU WILL BE IN THE SAME POSITION AS ME WRITING A LONG REVIEW WARNING THE NEXT INDIVIDUAL. read more

DISCRIMINATORY! I have a service dog. I looked at two properties and was ready to put in my application for one of them. I was told I had to show a "certification" proving my dog was a service dog. There is no such thing required by state or federal law. I informed her of this and she proceeded to argue the point with me. What they did is illegal and if this simple thing is how they do business I shudder to think how they conduct other business. read more

STAY AWAY! Just STAY AWAY and DON'T waste your time with CLOUD RENTAL. GO and RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE. Managment and the OFFICE staff are LIARS. They give you the MOVE-IN sheet to fill out, so we filled out sheet and we did took LOTS of pictures of the Nasty DIRTY STOVE and dirty floors. So We hired cleaning company to clean apartment when we MOVE -OUT. We wanted to make sure we didn't leave them with ANY reason to keep our money. We NEVER put any pictures on the WALLS and we NEVER raise up the blinds but these LIARS charged us OUTRAGEOUS charges just made up to TAKE our DEPOSIT ! All the WALLS NOT 1 Hole and BLINDS CLEAN. We left apartmant professionally clean. SO the CLOUD RENTAL made up charges to take $500 off our deposit. We are MILITARY so if you are a military family please STAY AWAY because this company WILL LIE and TAKE YOUR MONEY ! read more

I didn't want to believe the reviews but now it's happened to me. The house looked like shit before I moved in, used condoms, mouse droppings everywhere to include the fridge. I received my invoice well 2 invoices asking me for over $1500 ea. I feel like I have been had, and now the hands are out to clean me dry... funny how people play good caring Christians, but you see how quickly their greedy claws come out in the end. I was an amazing tenant for years, but I definitely have a bitter taste in my mouth now. Stay away from them!!!! read more

We should have listened. People told us we'd regret using Cloud, but we really liked the house and thought it couldn't be as bad as people say. We've rented properties across the country over the last 20 years and never had our deposit reduced by even one dollar. Cloud, by insisting you use their own cleaning people, carpet cleaners, etc., and by making you pay for each nail hole (even though they tell you NOT to repair them) makes certain they keep at lest half your deposit. If you are foolish enough to use these people, expect to be ignored for weeks when making repair requests, expect to be dismissed as a bother by the people who answer the phone, and expect to give up most of your deposit when you move out. Don't be foolish, even a "nice house" isn't worth dealing with this company. read more

This has been the worst rental experience of my life. First of all, the maintenance staff is completely incompetent. If you need a repair, GOOD LUCK. Our garage door broke the week we moved in. It has now been A YEAR, and it is still broken. We have asked several times for this problem to be solved. After dodging our calls and giving us the run around, they sent one technician out. He had no idea what he was doing and said he would be in touch. We never heard back. We are overpaying each month for a house with a two car garage, which we have never had the pleasure of using. I am completely disgusted by their lack of care on this issue. Secondly, our home owners are extremely nosy and make frequent drive bys past the house and report back to the agency. I find it sad that my husband serves his country in the U.S Army and we can't even live in peace, nor be trusted with a home. My husband and I have referred friends and said nothing but kind words about Cloud Realty, and received nothing in return. We have been ignored, harassed, and now this morning they told us we have 30 days to vacate the premises because "the owners want to sell the property". POTENTIAL RENTERS, BEWARE. read more

I don't like yelp, but this company was so especially rude I felt compelled to right my first review. You can expect better bedside manner from Walmart associates. Yelp and Cloud Real Estate's Facebook Page are plastered with poor reviews. You would struggle to find any post that doesn't mention being screwed out of a deposit and/or having to beg in order to receive repairs, if they received them at all. Despite all of this my wife and I, eager to find a home decided to give them a call. We loved the house, we asked if they would come down on the price and they responded with a great deal. Everything was great until we had our first interaction with the staff. The property mentioned interior painting 'may be discussed' and my wife was eager to add her own touch to just one room. When my wife asked the lady at the front desk, she looked at my wife like she was dumb for asking about it and said that's 'not our ad,' or something similar. We checked later it's clearly on their own website. OK, beggars can't be choosers I guess so we continued on with the application process. There is a forty dollar application fee but we were told since we were married it would only be one fee. My wife paid the fee and filled out her application no problem. I on the other hand had to fill out the application, discover they did not turn off the fee at the final page, contact Cloud Real Estate and try again until ultimately I filled out the application four times before turning in a paper one. All encounters were unpleasant, unhelpful, and always 'our fault.' At this point I was ready to be done, but a salesperson at Cloud contacted my wife and apologized and we had come this far so my wife and I decided just to continue business with them. The final straw came when I went to drop off a check for the deposit. I had failed to realize that it couldn't be a check and had to be a money order or debit/credit card with 3.5% (really?) fee. I accepted that I had made a mistake and was fine to go and purchase a money order when some guy in the office directly behind the receptionist went 'Pff Really' in a mocking voice as he realized I had brought a check. It sounds nominal but respect is everything in our family. I am in there trying to give them money and that gentleman's business ethic dictated that he would treat me as if I was the dumbest man alive for bringing a check. Needless to say, we are still on the hunt for a home. TLDR: Home renting isn't all about the price. It's about respect and reputable business; you will find neither at Cloud Real Estate. Soldiers please do not rent here. Homeowners, do not let them manage your property, find respectable people. Happy tenants care about the condition of the home they are living in considerably more so than tenants who feel that they are not being respected and are not expecting their deposit back. read more

If I could give -5 stars I would. Terrible rental company. Molly and the owner of the company are two of the most disrespectful women I've ever met. Especially the new owner. No customer service skills. Don't expect to get anything fixed because it takes months. My roof started leaking and growing mold and I called everyday to have them fix it so my daughter wouldn't get sick and it took me telling them I was moving out before they got someone to come fix it. The ladies that work at Cloud are all stuck up and on their high horses. Disgusting company and I would never recommend them to ANYONE for anything at all. read more

we hired cloud real estate to rent our house. the lady that came out to survey our home was nice and professional. however it was everything else that made me not want to recommend cloud. 1.we sent them pictures of our home that they never posted, despite numerous calls 2.website stated that there would be private showings in 3 months when we were ready to rent then. again wouldn't change the information despite numerous calls. i only have two complaints but i wasn't going continue business when we couldn't get the basics right. read more

Super experience. Everyone is so friendly and the process was made as painless as possible. They were recommended word of mouth by at least three people so I gave them a try. Glad I did. As a renter, it's nice to know these guys exist. read more

I don't even want to give them 1 star. They don't deserve even that. I could write a 4 page letter from all the crap I've had to endure from these idiot people. Molly, who was supposed to be keeping everything in line was completely useless (not to mention she's a liar) and was in cahoots with my nosey landlord. All they want is to take your money and lie about things when you decide you want to leave. I mean can you believe I hated it so much I decided to make a early move some where else? Cloud and landlord are both useless with all the problems I had and nothing ever got done when I told either side. I got a letter today that was so full of lies from them its unreal. Stating I was the problem and that I damaged the building and the shed? Uhh are you serious? No that was your trashy landlord that did that before I even moved in. But of course, they want to blame it on someone else so they can look like angels disguised as demons. This company is trash, the people that work there are trash, and their properties are trash. If the owner has any sense, he'll get off his high horse and actually be a business man and do work. Just because you have money doesn't mean you get to be lazy and not care about the people that come to you with a problem with your company. I had people in Killeen tell me this company was the worse you could go with and they were right, had I known it was a complete money trap I would of NEVER went there. Save your money for a company that actually deserves it and don't bother wasting your time with this insignificant piece of crap place they call Cloud. read more

We stayed with them for over 10 years having them manage our two rental properties. They are overall courteous and friendly, but after getting back our property this past month we are upset with the condition of our house. This is NOT about the regular wear and tear, but we are talking about a gush and a burn mark on the kitchen counter and a HUGE paint patch up job that went horribly wrong by one of the tenants in the past. Not to add minor things like broken blinds and warped air vent etc. Those things that cannot be missed before being rented out to the next tenant. So I called the property manager about them and basically I was told that their fees are reasonable and Cloud would not take any responsibilities for those damages. Not to say their data base only goes back to 3-4 years back and there is no way we can retrieve who and when these damages were done! The last thing we talked about was them finding me someone to fix these damages and charge damaged blinds to the past tenants but I NEVER heard back from them. So instead of trying to call and fight for those minor charges to be paid I am leaving how our experience with Cloud went down the hills towards the end! Please find someone else if you don't want to return to damaged home like ours! read more

Absolutely great experience with cloud. We were approved the day after we put in an application. Also we have a husky and they went the extra mile to get approval from the owner for us to move in. We got the deposit plus partial pet deposit back. Anytime we had an issue they came out to do repairs in a timely manner. The only down side was the pet deposit was 300.00 and only 150 is refundable read more

I moved on one of there property a little of over a year and 3 months ago and am in my second unit. My 1st apartment which was a year lease had roaches. Not one or two a lot of roaches. I couldn't leave anything out and had to wash all my plates before I could use them. I told the manager on the site. I never got an exterminator out to the unit the whole time I was there. My unit smelled like raid the whole time I lived there is was sicken but I couldn't afford to move out. After 3 months I could smell a strong order of death everywhere in my unit. Took me a day to finally realized it was the A/C making it smell like this. It was the start of Summer early May. I went to the office every day for a week before they came to my unit. Mind me am living with no A/C because of the smell and yall know how hot it can get in Texas. Again not a A/C repair man came out but the property maintenance guy and he said he found nothing nor could he smell anything. When I told you in smelled like something was dead in my unit and being told that he couldn't smell anything. I knew I was crazy so I kept pressing them to look. They came back a second time and found a cooked dead NYC size rat in my A/C. Was told that I would need a new A/C unit and I would have to pay for it. So 1st of all am in a roach infested unit and now I have to pay for a new A/C unit that can not be salvage because it barbecued a rat. I had to cause I needed it the temperature was rising. So that another $80 a month on to my rent in a place I can not afford to move out of. That increase was for as long as I stayed in the unit. My second unit a new fresh start 7 months later, I must be a guilty for pain since I stayed here. It was a smaller one I had gotten a 2/1 this time had a 2/2. I wanted to move but had to pick between buying a car so I could take my new job or keep working for minimum wages. The unit wasn't cleaned but it didn't have roaches. Weather strip falling for the front door, but this was my new home for the term of the lease. The choose was clear 2020 was my goal. I had tunnel vision now, could picture myself someplace better but back to reality, I need to finish 2019. The 1st night. WTF!!!!!!!! I came home from work and seen a FUDGEING bug on my bed.......I killed it trying to reclaim my composure. Tell myself at less it's not roaches anymore. (I will come back to the bug, but I wont make a big story of it) Day two... The fridge wasn't plugged in..when I moved in but I didn't care to much didn't have anything to put into it. I didn't want to bring any of the food from the old place. In the trash it went. I had my ex-husband come over my move the fridge and stove into place and plugged them in. I work evening so when I came home I could smell something...am fast-forward since this is already long took 4 work orders or week and a direct call to cloud to get it fixed. The smell was from the bottom of the fridge. I wanted a new unit. I wanted to move. I was threaten my the property manager she have my stuff throw out. I was an awfully tenant. I wanted a refund and was told you can leave and you not getting anything. Well how about a new unit. There none...okay back to the bugs...They were beg bugs. Pest control came out and now am breaking my lease cause they aren't reasonable for that since they can only find them in my room..I threw out all my bedding and was doing Landry every day. To many sleepless nights coming home to seeing bugs..Please save yourself and your family for going thur any of this. I with all my heart will tell you never rent from a cloud property read more

I thought cloud real estate was a great company when i hired them to manage my property. BIG mistake after 9 years my family and I came back to a trashed house they did nothing we asked. They never told us the extent of damage to the house from renters so that it could be fixed. The only thing they let us know about was what the renters complained about. Our house was never painted between renters only spot painted so our walls looked patchy. There were treed growing into our roof. Now there selling the home attched to ours and when we informed them of termites on that side of the property they are only spot treating when they can get the entire property treated with us paying the majority of the cost and it would be under warrenty. They tried to tell me that would prevent the termites from spreading to our side of the house due to the firewall. What about through the plumbing or I don't know, the outside of the house that has no firewall. My suggestion to anyone wanting to use cloud real estate for anything is to stay far far away. We are still fixing our house from all the damage they allowed to happen a year after we got back. We are still also owed thousends of dollors from previous renters we will probably never see. If I could give them a lower score I would. We told them from the beginning let us know what needs to be fixed and we would have it fixed. Not once did we say no to any repairs needed. Just as an example we had the handle broken off the microwave that wa built in. The refrigerater had a burm mark on the bottom and the 5 year filter was not replaced in 9 years. It had a date on it. read more

I am still waiting for a response to a deposit dispute. I believe they charge excessive fees in order to keep as much of the security deposit as possible. They did not inspect our home after move out in a timely manner and then when we did receive our security deposit, it was late, therefore they violated Texas State Law! read more

Horrible. I rented from this company three times and haven't gotten my deposit back each time I've moved out. My house had gotten inspected two weeks in a row and when I called to get a phone call back with who inspected and for what reason, the receptionist was rude first of all and I did not get a call back. I went in and was told that the receptionist had called my neighbor and informed him that someone was going to be inspecting. Knowing that my neighbor was called, the property manager still went inside then came back less than a week later trying to do another inspection. The next excuse was that she was supposed to be inspecting the duplex across from the one I was in. Then I got my itemized list of what they had fixed at the property and was charged $1200... their own cleaning lady was on most of the charges and her prices were the whole deposit. It's not even some fancy cleaning, she just went over and wiped down the cleaning we did because apparently we don't clean as good as her and she needs to make her money. read more

Do not rent from this place. They will take your money when it's time to move out. I put down a $600 deposit and $300 pet deposit , half non refundable and I received $8 back. They just pull shit out of their ass to make you pay for. I had the place cleaned and everything and they still charged me to have someone clean it and other bullshit. I should've left the place looking like shit and not even attempted to do anything. read more

out of the 4 different rental companies i have used in this area, cloud is by fat the best i have ever encountered. we rented an awsome 3 bdroom 2 bath duplex with all the bell and whistles. stained and posished concrete floors, marble countertops spirnkler system and privacy fence...we have two dogs, a great dane and a aussie shepherd. they only charged us a pet deposite ofr one animal and we only payed 800 a month. the garage even had stained concrete flooring...any issues we had with the property colud had someone over within 24 hrs..when we moved out we followed everything on the list of to do's and we got 100 % of our pet deposite and 100% of our securiety deposite..they are always nice on the phone and in person..a must use for any renters. read more

If I could give no stars, I would. I know someone who was trying to rent from them and they never called them back. He called multiple times for two days straight. They finally called back the last time and long story short, they told him that they didn't feel comfortable renting that exact house to him and that they were disapproving him due to a cable bill on his credit. I know this place's standards are not that high because they rent to people on section 8. They sent him in circles saying that they had to ask the property manager, then the home owner, and then the broker. There was a woman named Molly who was doing all of this. She even asked him if he could double the deposit and he said yes, but she still wouldn't approve him. I think she expected him to say he didn't have the money so she could use that as a reason to disapprove him. She was very unprofessional. After two days of no response and knowing that he had to be out of his current home in two days, he called her to check on his app only for her to say she had someone in her office and rush him off the phone. He had to call her back after business hours only for to tell him that he was disapproved. read more
