The owners are the most kind and knowledgeable people and they surround themselves with truly the best instructors. As a golfer myself, I couldn't wait to try out their tech. I can't overstate how impressive and helpful it is. After 1 lesson I was on my way to becoming a much happier golfer. The atmosphere is very fun to be in. There is a putting room. How cool is that? They have 3D video golf. What?? They have an area to hang out in where you can meet some great people and enjoy some tasty coffee and other beverages. I highly recommend coming here no matter what your skill level is.

I did have an evaluation and was very happy about the overall experience. Working with David, I who is the owner and is also a coach. My evaluation session was impressive and I am looking forward to my future training/teaching and practice sessions. GolfTec offers the ability to view and record on video to help evaluate your swing while in training or during your practice. It is very helpful to be able to view your swing real-time and make changes to help improve. There is also an indoor putting green that is available. You want to improve, you should check it out. I will provide updates as I continue to experience the teachings/trainings.

I almost don't want to review College Hill because I don't want people to start flocking here. I…read morelove this little course, and I don't care that a) it's only 9 holes, b) it's not long. It is fun and challenging, not to mention very nicely maintained and an absolute bargain. If you play the blues it's still pretty tough for an average golfer (#3 plays ~200 yards for a par 3, for example). The namesake hill on #8 is downright nasty, and you have zero chance of getting on the green in 1 no matter how big a hitter you are so you have to lay up at the bottom of the hill and then rocket one up there to have a chance. I am a huge huge fan.

Hogan's Cider Mill is fall haven, in New England. My friend was visiting from the south last week,…read morewhat a perfect place to take her for a bit of a fall preview, if you will. Granted, it is a bit early for the true season of fall, too early for the boots, too early for the flannels, and too early for the leggings. Sometimes you've got to take what you can get. Hogan's Cider Mill is located on freshly cut, beautiful green grass and plenty of it, in the small, rural town of Burlington, Connecticut. If you had no idea Connecticut had a town called Burlington, well Hogan's will be your intro to it. What an absolutely adorable place and so picturesque! The truck with every imaginable sized pumpkin is so cute! Inside you'll find a little cottage store with all sorts of goodies, from local snacks, to candles, wine, hoodies, all of it. You may get your warm apple cider donut here. Upstairs is where you may get your hard apple cider, or just apple cider. There are so many nooks and crannies that are also decorated for fall, where you may enjoy your cider of choice. We brought ours outside. The donut was warm, fresh, soft and so tasty! The cider was cold and apple cidery with a bit of spike. Hogan's Cider Mill is a must visit for anyone. Please enjoy the beautiful vibes, the scenery, the atmosphere and of course the cider and the donuts.

My time at Hogan's was honestly just ok. I had such high expectations from everything you see…read moreonline, but the whole experience just felt lackluster. I will start by saying the donuts ARE amazing! but that is about it. The cider and the slushies were pretty generic, and even with the "Summerween" theme, I just was expecting more. There weren't any other real food options, even popcorn or something would have been cool. The service was slow for such a well known and busy place, and the staff all moved like it was their first day. The mini golf was essentially 18 renditions of the same hole with no theme, excitement or variation. Thankfully we went on Friday when it's free which is a nice thing they do. It felt like a CT must do, but I don't think I need to go back.

Overall my experience was alright. They use 3Trak software for the launch monitor and system. It appears to be semi-accurate. Biggest issues I had was a ball that was perfectly still not moving would be registered as a hit. So good thing we had mulligans on to reset this or it would tank your score during a 9/18 hole play through. The only issue I had with the screen/ball net is there was a hole right in the center of the screen which also caused the screen to wrinkle up due to the hole. This should really be replaced. The overall cost is about the same for any other simulator in the area. 4/5

We buy all of our kids' lacrosse equipment at Sartorius now, and they've never steered us wrong. Our older daughter was ready for an advanced/high level stick and we appreciated so much that she could try many different options right there in the store and get feedback from staff members who actually know the sport and could guide her towards the best options for the position she plays. Our younger daughter's goalie helmet had a hardware issue about 6 months after we bought it and I brought it to Sartorius expecting to need to pay $40 for a new throat guard - not so, Chris had the right hardware and fixed it for us in minutes.
