I even found the happy return and fedex return policy online but employee said they do not support it. Extremely misleading directions, can't wait to return the dresses and will never return again. Outside of special occasion dresses, they sell under garments like spandex, shoes, headbands, sashes (ex: birthday sash), trendy women's clothes for the 20s age range and much more. Their dresses range from $50-$150. They have a lot of the slinky tight-fitting gowns that are appropriate for prom, a red carpet event or as a bridesmaid dress. The worker I encountered today wasn't super enthused and the cash register as well as fitting room didn't have an attendant there until I flagged one down. I ended up getting a dress here that was cute but had so much glitter on it that got everywhere. The glitter was all over my hair and on the floor. I noticed the worker even folded the dress away from her body to avoid getting glitter all over herself. The dresses are of cheaper quality but they do have many that look very nice.

I like this store. It sells vintage clothes that actually look clean and wearable. However, the selection of clothes at MPC is quite limited. If you are a girl, they have some quality dresses buried within the racks and some nice accessories. However, when shopping for myself I am only ale to choose from grungy flannels, tweed sports coats, and unwearable polos. They have a selection of vintage t-shirts that I have picked from, but a lot are forgettable. I wish the store would expand its purchases. The store is worth it to check out, and I hope you find something to buy because it's great to see shops like this in Syracuse, but it just doesn't offer anything for me.

On the other hand they have pretty good deals, such as 3 pairs of shoes and free items of clothing if you buy multiples. Antiques West is an incredible Syracuse gem that anyone who'd enjoy wandering through a deceptively…read morehuge maze of antique, vintage, and secondhand items would be crazy to overlook! It's a one-story warehouse-style building that's been sectioned and compartmented off into smaller areas where the wares of dozens (I think---it seemed that diverse, anyway) of individual vendors are arranged. The layout of the actual interior is deceptive in that you eventually reach a point toward the back of the main building where you realize that a series of doorways (and with abundant signage indicating what you'll find through each one) actually leads to several additional huge spaces beyond, each with even more items to browse. One of these "back room" areas contained multiple racks filled with vintage clothing (both women's and men's) that had clearly been carefully curated via the vendor's high standards of overall quality/vintage condition, and the diverse range of clothing types (costumey vs. casual/everyday vs. formal/dressy, etc.) was particularly impressive. My visit to AW happened accidentally and with only about an hour remaining until they closed for the day, so I know I didn't get to see all the rooms, let alone all the items, that were available at that time. Even so, I managed to find a wide selection of things to purchase (art prints, vintage collectible calendars, 5+ articles of clothing, two beautiful lamps, and more!) and was definitely able to confirm AW as a 100% worthwhile stop to include on any list of must-visit Syracuse antique/vintage shops. And what's more, every single staff member and vendor that I encountered while I was shopping went absolutely above and beyond in helping me find my way around, learn more about the back stories of certain items I expressed interest in, and trying on the clothing items I'd picked out prior to deciding whether to buy them. They seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me as a first-time shopper, and in turn I got to know several of them on a first-name basis even in the short amount of time I had to spend that afternoon. All in all I have nothing but positive things to say about the entire experience I had at my first Antiques West visit, and I can't wait to go back again soon!

Overall, I am stoked with my thrift store finds. The workers up front weren't particularly attentive. Their customer service skills were a 6 out of 10. The place has a ton of shoes and everything is nicely organized by color (including the plates/house ware section). There is a ton of clothes and some art, children's games, and lots of chairs. There is a large parking lot and they accept donations as well.

Many of my favorite pieces of clothing have come from this particular store. Also, there is a large assortment of housewares and, depending upon what is available, sometimes a large assortment of furniture. We needed several folding chairs for a family event and I went in weekly until I had the number of chairs that we needed. As with my clothing purchases, some of my favorite furniture items (bedroom dressers in particular) and housewares are from the Salvation Army. Although I am not an antique collector per se, I've seen some great vintage furniture and houseware itms for sale. As for the cleanliness of the store - well, these are donated items so not everything is sparkling! The long-time employees are friendly and engaging; some of the newer ones may not have acquired the skills to work in a retail environment - which is the case in even upscale retail stores as well. So I recommend a trip to the Salvation Army - even without a planned purchase in mind. You have to factor in enough time to look around. You never know...
