Then Laura of Vara, Inc. walked in. She is no-nonsense and very professional and definitely knows her business. She wasn't trying to push me into buying items I didn't need or up sale me at every turn. She helped me arrange the furniture I already had, and did a wonderful job of tying in the artwork I have with everything new we added. Her recommendations ended up being perfect. A few times I had my doubts but figured I could switch things back after she left but when I saw the finished project I literally was speechless. The few projects we did that I didn't listen to Laura are the only ones I regret. I don't mean to sound like a Vara, Inc commercial. I was just so surprised that some simple changes could make such a huge difference. My rooms look bigger. I never knew color choices were so important and could change the whole feel of my home. Watching her work was like watching a magician on stage. Several time I left for work thinking she had really messed up this time only to return home and be floored.I always liked entertaining but now I look for reasons to have friends, family, even customers over to my house. She made my house into my dream home and through the whole process she did not once make me feel like I had no style or taste. I never felt uncomfortable for any reason. I will recomend Vara,Inc to anyone who needs blinds, furniture, carpet or pretty much anything else. I am 100% happy with our new addition and all the work they did in the original part of the house. Yes, I am a convert.

The second day we waited and waited and he did not show up until 11:00am, I called the office to see when they would be arriving and the office lady had no clue. When he finally arrived he said he over slept. The third day was a few months later and the same thing happened, he did not show up until 11:30 after I called the office and said they had to start on time! The installer told me that never told him to start early, but honestly you are a professional you start on time. I finally got to talk to the owner/manager and he was kind of helpful and said he would be talking to the installer about showing up late. The guy I met with to organize the design also stopped answering my messages. When the installer show up the measurements were not correct the third day and he had to go back and re-cut the boards, he left and did not show up until over TWO hours later! I had emailed the designer several days before the third install to say I was switching my hardware, he never responded and they showed up with the wrong hardware. I also asked the installer to put down plastic in the bedroom due to the rugs, they put one strip down and then in the closet with light rug he did not put anything down and continued to walk on the rug with his shoes that he was going back and forth from outside. The rug was a mess. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!

I have used Closet Factory for two projects, a master bedroom custom closet and a custom wall unit…read morein our living room. We are very pleased with both. Our designer, Jennifer Lewis, is fantastic. She is super consultative and very open to collaboration. She asks tons of questions and even measured things we wanted to store so that the shelves and drawers would accommodate everything. Very thorough! There were delays in fabricating some of the components of the wall unit (due to Covid), and the communication from their office wasn't great, but once the delays were resolved, the end result is beautiful. (I'm rating a four only because of the poor communication. The designer and the end result were both solid fives.) I would definitely use them again for any closet or organizational project. Especially Jennifer - she's excellent.
