He just couldn't be bothered. Its usually the customer that is the one that has to be managed over the phone because of their crankiness not the people running the business! I tried to book work but found the guy on the other on the other end of the phone was just plain rude and really unhelpful. Maybe it was too early in the morning, being 8:30ish, probably eh?!! Glasgow is a city full of charmers. I would suggest that if your looking for a handyman a key quality is dealing with people and having a bit of savvy on how treat your potential new customers. Can you imagine if they are that rude on the phone what they're like onsite!! Feck that! I'll off to get a handyman who knows what they are doing.

In the month and half I have waited for this company to do me a quote, other things and people are inconvenienced. How do these companies get away with this. It's always a maze and total uncertainty trying to select a builder, every single person is fearful when selecting someone to work on their property, the totally element of the the "unknown". After 3 visits to fix a faulty central heating system, they finally got it working (after asking us to cal their suppliers and paying for parts direct!), but then it wouldn't switch off. Boiling hot radiators with a 15 month old baby toddling about the place? Not a nice environment. I called to ask them to come and have a look at it and they said they'd be there between 9.30 and 12. 7pm that day and still no visit. After calling to chase it up, the guy I spoke to said it was Paul who was supposed to come out, and he'd get onto it and call me back. After that Stewart Heating started ignoring my calls. It turns out the problem was actually CAUSED by Stewart Heating who re-wired a couple of the heating pumps so one was constantly on. The guy who came out to fix it told me it was dangerous repair that could have had rather nasty consequences. So, I'd avoid them if I were you. They may be cheap but with dangerous repairs, is it actually worth it?
