My friend and I are not from the area and were exploring the Arcades when we happened upon this…read morelocation. The store/building itself is cool, and we stepped in purely to look at the store and see if there was a retail shop to browse. Unfortunately, the experience turned uncomfortable very quickly. As soon as we walked in, the staff heavily pushed a "free tour" on us. Even after we thought indicated we weren't really interested, they made us feel awkward for saying no that we eventually agreed, thinking it was just a quick walk-through of a themed store which we could then look at after by ourselves. It was a 5-minute guided walk through a basement filled with DIY "selfie stations" and photo props. While this is a cool concept if you are looking for content creation, it wasn't our thing, and we were just trying to be polite. After the tour, we were led to the front and asked to leave a donation. When we explained that we didn't have any cash on us, the atmosphere shifted immediately. It didn't really feel like it was optional to pay, and we were supposed to because they gave us a tour which we didn't even want. The owner Coco, was not kind, rolled her eyes, and made judgmental comments as we left. We felt very uncomfortable and left feeling like we had frustrated the staff for not understanding the business or expectations before entering. I think if you like DIY selfie stations you would like this and could spend a lot of time here. However we experienced high pressure and unprofessional treatment all because we didn't have cash for a "optional" donation. If you aren't planning on paying for a photo session or carrying cash for a tip, I'd recommend skipping this one to avoid the awkward encounter. There are plenty of other spots in the Arcade.

I had a boudoir session with this photographer in 2019 when I lived in Ohio. The photo shoot was…read moregreat but her communication and professionalism needs some serious attention. The package I purchased included an album. After reviewing the album proof, I requested several simple edits (swapping a few images) before approving it for print. Unfortunately, the album has still never been delivered. Over the past several years I have made repeated attempts to contact the photographer by email and Facebook Messenger to confirm the edits and finalize the album. Responses have been extremely infrequent, and most messages go unanswered. Most recently, after posting a public review, I was told that the album had been printed and would be shipped. She would respond with tracking when available. I asked for confirmation that the requested edits had been completed since I never approved the original proof. After that message, communication stopped again and I have not received the album or any tracking information. At this point I am simply trying to receive the finished album that was included in the package I paid for. I hope this can finally be resolved, but after several years of trying to communicate and seeing reviews from so many others having this same issue, I don't have high hopes. I'll be escalating this to the Ohio Attorney General and BBB.

She then asked me why I needed the photos I told her I was looking to have photos on my website updated. She then stated that if I was going to be making money off "her images" that she needed to be paid $100 per image. I was like what??? I'm no newbie at boudoir so I questioned her motives she replied with " I don't tell you how to give blow jobs in cheap hotel rooms don't tell me how to do my job" I was in shock is this really how she talks to potential clients?? Her work is mediocre I was honestly settling glad I dodged a bullet. Update: miss Leah is now threatening me with a law suit for my honest review. I only just now read her past reviews. She is unprofessional and needs to be replaced worst customer service experience ever!!!

Our kids hadn't slept much the night before and both of them (infant and 3 yr old) were so cranky and wouldn't smile. I was a bit bummed that we wouldn't get good photos, but you wouldn't have guessed! She captured our family in the best way - kids happy looking, natural (not awkward poses), nice framing and lighting, and just a really approachable style. Very pleased. She's comfortable to be around (first time meeting her) and she picked great spots to capture the scenery too. We have done several family sessions with professional photographers and she delivered more (good ones) photos than what I would usually get. Although we don't necessarily need a ton of photos, the deliverable was beyond what I expected. Totally worth it and will do it again so she can continue document our growing kiddos!

We will continue to call Sarah "our" photographer for as long as she will visit Los Angeles.

If I could give this " photography business " zero stars I would. Last year we found this…read more"photographer" and decided to get Santa photos for our pets. The experience was rushed the helpers lacked experience with pets but we overlooked it thinking the pictures would be worth it. After paying a ridiculous amount on prints and cards, since they weren't offering rights to the pictures, we waited for the pictures to arrive. I got a notification when they were ready for pickup so I drove 45 minutes to pick them up after being told that they would be at the location of the photo shoot. Turns out they weren't there. After runaround from the store and photographer who she had called I went home annoyed. Then Martha told me she would drop them off at our house. She did and half of our order was missing! Thankfully the cards turned out cute so I let the disaster go. This year I decided to try again. BIG MISTAKE. I used the website to book an appointment at 1130 at milo and me and got the confirmation email. On that day, after lugging three dogs and a cat to said location, ( no easy task) I was met by the store owner who notified me that pictures for Santa wouldn't be there until 230!!!! I called Martha who was very rude to me and she said no we are at another location. So we drove there. When we got there she gave no apology treated me like I was lying and started with the photo shoot. It was rushed, cramped and much like her attitude extremely unprofessional. I bought the rights to the photos and wanted to order Christmas cards. I was told to call her on Monday to order those. I did and was assured they would be here before Christmas. When I got the cards they looked horrible!! So bad I couldn't even use them. Not the right photos and in the middle the picture was cut off and turned the wrong way! No year was on the card either. They looked like a card a child made at a Walmart kiosk! I messaged Martha and was not offered an apology an explanation or anything. True to form very rude and unprofessional. All she said was send them back for a refund! Real nice! I don't recommend her at all. I even question whether or not it's a registered legitimate business. Stay clear of this mess and find a real photographer!
