Caution going to this company. We purchased a Modern History desk in October 2024. It was delivered the summer of 2025 and put in storage until we moved Labor Day weekend of 2025. Within one week of using the desk one of the wooden drawer sliders broke off. We glued it back on. The next week another wooden draw slider broke off. When we called the store we were told we used it too long for anything to be done. And that they don't carry that line anymore. So, no customer service for a product clearly defective. read more

Designer Michael Manoogian was so helpful and a delight to work with while selecting new furniture after the hurricane. Horrible experience purchasing a lot of furniture from them. They took deposits from me in March/April of 2023, they took balances in August 2023 prior to delivery. Oct 9, 2023, they deliver my furniture not only missing 8 dining chairs that they never had upholstered as requested, but the delivery personal drilled holes straight through a custom chest. They give me a credit for fabric for the chairs to make up for the fact they were never made and now I would have to wait yet another 6 weeks to receive them. They ordered me a replacement chest..but that was two months later when I called to inquire because Maria, their customer service agent totally forgot to order it. So now I have to wait until February 2024. Then they have the nerve to request their credit back telling me it was never to compensate me and I owe them. Wow... and their "compensation " for all the trouble and mistakes is to offer me a measly $500 credit to my card and $500 in store credit. Like I would ever want to spend another nickel in the store. I paid them because I have ethics and I am a decent person. I should not have paid them but that's not who I am. I regret ever spending a dime in that store. We purchased a new condominium and needed interior design services.We went to Clive Daniel and worked with what we thought was an interior designer . We were charged at a rate of $200/hr which we felt was reasonable .What we received was terrible and when I questioned whether she was an interior designer it was disclosed that she was not trained nor educated in interior design. Apparently anyone can claim to be an interior designer. When we expressed our dissatisfaction with the work presented all that was addressed was her need for additional hours to work on the project. I explained to her that if we didn't like her design and ideas why would I want to invest more money?So disappointed at the misleading representation of working with an "interior designer". They basically just are furniture salesperson that can help you if you can't figure out where to put furniture. In our case that was not an issue. We wanted true interior design ideas for the entire condo,including textured walls,architectural elements etc. I can't comment on their furniture as this has tainted the whole experience and we haven't decided whether we will purchase furniture from them. Needless to say we hired an architect to help with the design as we wanted a high end design for our new condo.I don't want to disclose any names as she was very nice and pleasant personally.We just didn't care for her work professionally. read more

We purchased a home that needed to be remodeled and needed all new furnishings in Naples. We interviewed several designers at Clive Daniel's and ended up selecting a team that told us they could find us a subcontractor that could get the job done within 6 months and that they would manage the project for us while we were not there. We knew we were paying a premium for the service but we trusted what we were told and believed in the process. Without going into rant of negativity it was the worst experience we have EVER had dealing with a company that promoted themselves as a general contractor. The lack of detail, communication, responsiveness and customer service was appalling. They are a furniture store that is overpriced and are not set up correctly for sub contractors. I am submitting this review because I don't want anyone else to go through the painful process of spending your hard earned money on a project that you will become frustrated and disappointed with. There are plenty of general contractors in Naples that are way more qualified and professional. We clearly experienced a company that profiteered claiming they were qualified for a job they couldn't fulfill. read more

I used to call Clive Daniel my "happy place" but I am very unhappy with my recent experience. I ordered many pieces of furniture and spent a considerable amt of money and yet when i expressed my dissatisfaction with a couple of the products, all I have heard for a week is "Just Wait" and "Tracy will call you." I am a reasonable woman and a fellow business owner but I am having a difficult time with the lack of response. Very poor customer experience. We had our entire condo decorated by CD. Our 6,000.00 rug we purchased from them is literally falling apart. Their response ( and the manufacturer Stanton) ....sorry it's out of warranty ( 1 year warranty). Has virtually no wear and tear...vacation property used by 2 adults( no pets) only a few weeks per year. Vacuumed occasionally with no beater bar . All parties involved claim no responsibility. As a real estate broker, I know the power of big N neutral when it comes to home furnishings appealing to many people. Clive Daniel is the phoenix child of the principals of Robb & Stucky It returned after the recession with a beautiful showroom and an inventory of conservative, contemporary furniture. There's not a glimpse of jarring color here. Neutrals and pale pastels dominate the largely expensive collections. Well manicured designers are available to help customers assemble interiors, too. By invitation, the Naples Opera provided a one-night teaser for the upcoming season. The event was hosted at Clive Daniel. They opened space in their center atrium so a string quartet could perform two selections, followed by the performance of a coloratura soprano. The well-heeled crowd stood or perched on Clive Daniel's couches and chairs while the music flowed. Light, very light hors d'oevres were provided on two tables, and wine was poured sparingly at a third, My guess from the soggy, chilled canollis that the food was gathered at Costco, or provided by a low budget caterer. o dear. But we were there not for the food, but for the opportunity to preview classical talent in a pretty setting. Staff from the Opera were armed with program brochures and were available to sell season tickets. It was apparent that a handful of Clive Daniel sales people were conscripted to stay for the evening event. They huddled out of sight of the performers, but their chatter carried to the ears of several disapproving opera patrons in front of us. Luckily, the Neopolitans present avoided confrontation, and were content to be distracted from the music by throwing evil glances at the oblivious Clive Daniel reps. Clive Daniel has beautiful (yes,expensive) furniture and we found the customer service to be top notch. I'm sort of confused by the negative reviews. Our designer, Gina, helped us pick out a home full of furniture and fabrics that look stunning in our apartment. She is enthusiastic, responsive and listened to our needs and our preferences and worked within our guidelines to furnish our home. We called her many times asking 'when will our furniture arrive?' and she always looked into it and called us back with an answer. On installation day, she was with us as well as another designer, Reanna and a repairman to make sure the quality was right. The delivery guy/master installer, Toro does amazing work and was considerate of our apartment. They even sent a piece back that was damaged, if they hadnt told us, we never would have noticed it. Great selection of furniture. From mid-price to high price. My salesperson, Ann, was very helpful. Not pushy, didn't stalk me as I wandered through the store. When I was done wandering, she was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. She understood that I had a budget and helped me stick to it. When I needed another bedroom set, I returned and she was very helpful again. Love the furniture at Clive Daniel. I am on a tight budget and was interested in redoing my house but 1 piece at a time. Had color palette which they also have. Very nice salesman, talked for quite awhile. Saw some beautiful pieces. He told me to take pics of my house and he would come up with some ideas. He got my cell number and was going to call me back with some ideas. I was very excited, but as I said earlier going to be a long process since I could purchase one piece at a time. Never heard from him or anyone else. I told a friend of mine my experience and she told me that if you were not wealthy and they couldn't design your whole house they probably weren't interested. While the furniture is lovely and the designer I had was a pleasure to work with, it was when I asked to discuss a master bath reno that the problems began. After paying $2500 in good faith, I was emailed a so called "proposal" which consisted primarily of disclaimers and contracts accompanied by a point form scope of work laden with trade terms that a layman would not understand. A short note asked me to call IF I had any questions. I guess contracts have to be signed before a proper explanation of the project is provided. Needless to say, I declined to go forward and am lobbying to have my $2500 returned to me. read more

We could not recommend this furniture store. We were not happy with the quality of the furniture, the professional level of the "designer", who had no formal training and little work experience. We paid extra for "design" help for someone who we felt was not capable of putting together fabrics, who made mistakes with the scale of the furniture, the sizing of a fixture, and who told us to go to Home Goods to find accessories for our home since our budget was exhausted by the cost of the furnishings that were purchased. Are we fault, yes. We should have walked away when we asked for a Board with all the fabric selections and done was provided. Sadly we are living with our poor judgement. read more

Stopped in to look at living room furniture and left after encountering arrogant and condescending salesperson. Salesperson must have taken cue from Clive Daniel's corporate attitude towards it customers. It's latest television commercial ridicules people who previously purchased "Tuscan" style furniture from Clive Daniels (with one of the actors claiming that even the Italians are laughing at them). According to the commercial, the only way to avoid being viewed as a complete idiot is to immediately throw away your current furniture and purchase all new stuff from them. Be aware, no matter what you purchase today, you WILL be the subject of scorn and ridicule in next year's advertising campaign. read more

Clive Daniel is a company to stay away from. Their furniture is way overpriced. And the are crooks. Clive Daniel was formerly known as Robb and Stucky. They had several Florida locations. They closed all their stores, went bankrupt, stiffed their employees and venders for lots of money. People who put down payments down to order furniture never got their furniture, and lost their money. I have lived in Florida for years- this is a company not to do business with. I am not one to write reviews but my frustrations have reached an all time high. I have purchased smaller items at Clive Daniel in Naples but decided to give them an opportunity this summer for a large and very expensive order of 10 dining room chairs. They quickly took my 50% deposit and assured me that i ordered in time to receive the chairs by Thanksgiving. I sit here today without those 10 dining room chairs and if i had not reached out to ask for the status of my order, no one was reaching out to me. They are quick to overcharge and over promise and win the award for under delivery both figuratively and literally. read more
