Instead of charging us the deposit fee and signing a contract. They are charging $300 to replace the NON secure cowl. After we went and looked for it in the water. Not our fault but we have to pay. Teenager that we went through to rent boat had no clue what he was doing. Teenager did not check to make sure everything was working or ok. Very poor way to run a business. They didn't have the reservation that I hade made a few months prior however they provided a campsite quickly and was extra concerned that I was not charged twice. It seemed that the facilities were more geared to the marina rather than camping. If I am passing through again and needed a pleasant overnight stay, I would definitely stay again.

Today's experience was the final straw. When I saw how little alcohol was poured into the super cheap Walmart opaque plastic cup of my friends drink, I commented on it to the 18 year old bartender. And she called the owner/ manager over. The owner proceeded to pour the alcohol In His drink out into a tiny one ounce plastic "shot glass" and then flowed the small remainder onto the bar (which she left for me to clean up). She was talking down to us the entire time and saying that she isn't in the business to give away free drinks. Absolutely absurd! A better approach might have been to pretend the customer matters and not try to humiliate them in front of friends and employees! No wonder the place was almost empty at 7:30 pm on a Saturday night of the biggest boating weekend of the year! Won't be back and will make sure everyone I know hear a this story.

You'd think the most essential objective of a business is profit, but not there. They must not care for customer satisfaction or profit. I wouldn't suggest doing business there.
