There's even a fabric stash, rolls end up in bright bins, and a cute pastel ladder that I feel that I must have in my life. I found the perfect gift for a couple of my friends and bought a few bits for myself also. I contacted the site owner with some questions I had and he promptly and professionally dealt with my query. Upon receiving the items, everything was well packed and just as described expect 1 item had a small bit of damage to it. I contacted the site owner and he was very apologetic, immediately refunded the item and went above and beyond in his customer service despite it more than likely being rough handling by the postman. A very pleasant company with lovely items. Highly recommended for unusual gifts!

There's a lovely cafe in the back, and a real range of things- from quality homewares, to clothes, and children's toys- with a really nice selection of cards and wrap too. I do like coming here on the run up to Christmas, as there are always lovely gifts and really beautiful decorations. It has been reduced in size slightly, but it's still a well tetris-ed expanse. There are two nice women's clothes boutiques in the other half of the old shop. In fact Yarm as a whole has had a boom in little fancy boutiques in recent years. Perhaps this explains why Strickland and Holt has had to reduce its size. Shame Stockton couldn't head in that direction too. Or is it possible to fit in another pound shop?
