Everyone from the receptionist, to the nurse to the doctor took really good care of me. They were all very patient, and understanding (as a doctors office should be). But in the end it was worth it, and I appreciate the help I got on Saturday morning!

Recently, their billing was moved to a third party, and I began having serious issues with how my VA-covered visit was billed. Despite the services being authorized through the VA, the balance was sent to collections, creating a major headache over a bill I should not have been responsible for. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this urgent care to other veterans or their biller's incompetence will put you in collections too.

Only earnest input and guidance that I greatly appreciated. Vivian was my tech/nurse, and helped make things seamless while having a positive attitude and sparkling personality that helped make me feel at ease. I didn't catch the woman's name at the front desk, but she was amazing as well!! The doctor was efficient while also being patient with my questions, and was so nice the entire time. Would definitely go back here for care, and would recommend to anyone to do the same.

This clinic never fails to disappoint when it comes to customer service. The only reason we…read morecontinue coming here is because my mother-in-law has been a patient for many years, and no other doctor has been willing to prescribe the medications she has been taking for so long, so we always end up coming back to Serra. Their telephone service is terrible. They rarely answer the phone, even after the automated system repeatedly says you're the next caller for 20-30 minutes. Last Monday, I called around noon and again around 2:00 p.m. They eventually called to verify my mother-in-law's date of birth and then called again around 4:30 p.m. All I needed was for them to correct the dosage of her medication because they had sent the pharmacy the wrong strength. My mother-in-law had already been seen by the doctor just a few days earlier, so there was no reason for her to schedule another appointment just to correct a prescription dosage that the office had entered incorrectly. Instead of simply contacting the pharmacy to fix their mistake, the staff member insisted we make another appointment, which would have meant my mother-in-law going without her medication for about a week. The representative was rude, repeatedly saying she was "just trying to help," then placed me on hold. It was obvious she had no intention of returning to the call because she left me on hold until the office closed. At exactly 4:58 p.m., the call was disconnected. It's now been over a week, and I still haven't heard back from anyone. No follow-up, no correction, and no concern for a patient who depends on her medication. It's incredibly frustrating that something as simple as correcting a prescription dosage has been handled with such a lack of urgency and compassion. To make matters worse, here I am again today trying to reach someone. After 35 minutes on hold, it looks like I won't be able to speak with anyone once again. Instead of connecting me to a representative, the automated system is now asking me to enter the extension number of the person I'm calling. How am I supposed to know anyone's extension? I have no choice but to hang up because I don't have that information. This has become a pattern, not a one-time occurrence. Patients should not have to spend hours trying to reach someone, especially when the office is correcting its own prescription error. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service is unacceptable. I sincerely hope this clinic improves its phone system and the way it handles patient concerns because no one should have to go through this just to get a medication dosage corrected.
