Rude, defensive, nasty, and seems ready to throw down. Gross woman!
Sonia R.

First experience here was 1 worthy if that. Booked appointment about a month in advance. I assumed they would call or email to confirm, isn't that office/apt etiquette? So I show up a half hour early, I'd rather be early than late. But when the other front desk girl came in. She made me feel as if being there early was a bad thing and as if confirming apts is something foreign. She became very defensive and seemed to want to argue about confirming apts. I'm not about to get examined somewhere where nasty attitude towards patients is supported and the vibe is gross! Jerks at the front desk except the young one. She kept professional ThAts why the 1

If you want an inconsiderate, disrespectful , unprofessional and rude nurse to assist you . You have come to the right place . This woman just has a way of making you feel uncomfortable and as if you are annoying her and wasting her time for the littlest things like asking questions as one does for their treatment and concerns about their situation. Plus I really felt like She was judging me and it made me feel weird that she would know my personal business since she talks very loudly i really feared she would repeat anything personal out loud . Also the actual doctor DALIA RAMIREZ pretty much told me to eff off that I was not sick when I actually was because I had to go to another doctor who told me I was. If you want real genuine help go anywhere else but here you have been warned.

Rude, Rude, Rude!!!!!

I was in the ER for 19 hours because they didn't have any beds upstairs. That is unacceptable. But the doctors and nurses did their best to care for me until I could be admitted. Wen was part of the overnight staff and was incredible. The ER was not sanitary. The bathrooms in the waiting room and within the ER especially were not being maintained and I might have contracted the flu from using them. Once I was admitted to the second floor, the levels of care were exponentially better. I had around the clock care and a call button for if I needed anything. They made sure I knew what was happening with my body and gave me full control over my treatment options. The food was surprisingly acceptable; sometimes even good. One thing that I found strange was that I never was told about how billing worked or what my insurance would cover. I am lucky that they are contracted with my insurance and I only owe $50 from the ER. But it is concerning that I never was told about billing while I was there. TLDR: Hire more sanitation workers!

The pre-op process was super smooth -- I got a call a couple of days before my surgery to come in, fill out paperwork, and go over all my pre-surgery instructions. Everyone I interacted with was kind, patient, and made sure I understood everything I needed to know. On the day of surgery, the nurses were amazing! They helped me get ready, checked in often, and made sure I was comfortable while waiting. One even asked if I was cold and offered to warm up my bed -- they hooked up this little tube that blew warm air into my blankets, and it was honestly the coziest thing ever. It really helped calm my nerves. They also let my fiancé stay with me until it was time for surgery, and he had a seat right next to my bed. Later, they showed him where to wait while I was in the OR, which I appreciated. When it was time for surgery, I was wheeled into the OR (which was a bit intimidating -- so bright and white!) but the team moved quickly, and the next thing I knew, I was waking up in recovery. The nurses there were very attentive -- I was in quite a bit of pain and super thirsty, and they immediately helped with pain management and brought me ice chips and water. They even brought my fiancé in to be with me while I waited for my room. After about 40 minutes, I got my own private room, which was great since I needed frequent checks and help moving around. The room itself was clean, though the hospital overall does look a little dated -- some of the furniture had visible wear and tear, but cleanliness wasn't an issue. The only downside was that my room didn't have hand soap or paper towels for almost 5 hours, so I had to use the wet wipes I brought from home. Overall, my stay was comfortable, the staff was caring, and the process was well-organized. I'm healing well and feeling so much better -- really grateful to the team here for taking good care of me.

I am deeply disappointed with the care my father received from Dr. Michael Cao and his office…read more After my father was discharged from the hospital in August 2024, it was urgently recommended that he see a cardiologist due to his heart issues. Dr. Cao saw my dad in September, and a test was conducted soon after. However, when it came to releasing the results or reviewing them for potential risks, Dr. Cao and his office became incredibly uncooperative. Not only did they make it extremely difficult for us to get the test results, but they also caused unnecessary delays for both my father's primary care physician and his high-risk doctor in obtaining critical information. The office staff kept the report from me and my family which I know I have the rights to obtain. After countless of heated arguments with their office staff going back and forth about the results by the time they agreed to send the results it was time to see Dr. Cao for the follow-up. Then Dr. Cao just simply said our case needs to be referred to another specialist when they could've referred us directly to begin with. Despite the urgency of my father's case, it seemed like Dr. Cao was unwilling to prioritize the situation. My father passed away in November 2024 due to cardiac arrest, and I can't help but feel that better communication and more proactive care might have made a difference. I expected better from a cardiologist, especially when my dad's health was at such high risk. Sadly, this experience has been a frustrating and painful one, and I would not recommend Dr. Cao to anyone in need of urgent care. During this time I heard he is the mayor so it seemed like he was too occupied and prioritizing that over the care for his patients.
