The Pharmacist called and was extremely rude didn't give me any information on the patient and when I stated that the doctor was out for the day, she was extremely rude and hung up. When I called back shortly after as I was able to get the information from someone else, she was even more rude. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! She also hung up both times without ending the call.

BUT primarily I print photos here or cards or even copies of items. Staff is hit or miss. Price is on par. Selection seems to be ok, I do really like their seasonal gift items. The parking lot can be kind of a nightmare. But I want to shout out to their photo staff. Generally, they do a stellar job! I'll always come to the Coralville Walgreens for photos needs.

I had to get RXs filled on a Sunday when my regular pharmacy is closed. I wrote a check. The…read morepharmacist claimed-loud enough for everyone to hear-that my check was bad. I knew it wasn't-he refused to try and run it again. I needed the RXs so paid cash for them. I spent part of the next day at the bank and dealing with them about my "bad" check -which my bank said was fine. I filled out the review they requested on my experience shopping there and got an email to my PERSONAL account from the pharmacist reiterating that the check was bad! So I just got my bank statement and guess what went through? Yeah. The check was NOT bad and cleared my bank just fine-just like I knew it should have PLUS I had paid cash for the same RXs--so CVS got paid twice for my RXs AND embarrassed me in front of others that I write bad checks! Wow! Glad this isn't my regular pharmacy! Not shopping in there ever again-for anything! What a scam-telling me the check was bad, yet it cleared the bank and then requiring me to pay again to get my RXs!

This place is pretty much the same as any other chain drugstore, when looking for miscellaneous toiletries or maybe to fill a prescription. And that's why I've been here several times - to stock up. I also handed her a $4 coupon. Before the issue was clearly resolved, she tore up my $4 coupon. She then insisted it had been applied, but the total only reflected the 25% discount on my $16.99 item. The additional $4 discount was not included. When I politely pointed out the discrepancy, instead of explaining or correcting it, the interaction became argumentative and dismissive. We went back and forth for about 30 minutes, with no resolution. Since my coupon had already been destroyed and the pricing issue still wasn't resolved, I ultimately decided not to complete the purchase. The missing $4 wasn't the biggest issue--it was the lack of professionalism, clear communication, and customer service. I expect a shift supervisor to handle situations like this calmly, accurately, and respectfully. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. I was walking through the aisles after picking up my product while talking to my sister on the phone when she waved to get my attetion and reprimanded me in the middle of the store for broadcasting my conversation to the only other person in the store: her. She unpolitely enformed me that she could in fact hear every word of my conversation and when I assured her it wasn't private and didn't bother me if she heard what I was saying, she was quick to make sure I knew that it bothered her. After being thoroughly humilated I immediately put down my item and walked out, feeling as though I could not give them my services after the way she had spoken to me.
