We stopped off to take the short walk to the falls on Sunday morning. There's a decent amount of parking and toilets (which aren't currently open but they've provided a porta john). The main area feels more like a city park than a state park. It has a quaint feel, with green space and picnic tables all nestled in the curve of the river. The trail to the falls takes off back toward the park entrance and crosses under the highway. As dry as the ground was that day the trail itself wasn't always crystal clear, but no matter, as you've got the river to follow. It's about a mile out and back, and the rocky, rivers edge landscape makes for a fun walk. Since it was morning and super windy and cold, we had the place pretty much to ourselves. The falls were moving swiftly...it's always great to hear the approaching rush of water as you draw near. I found Cline Falls much more impressive in person than on any pics I'd seen. No significant height, but quite a wide span, with multiple drops and levels. Overall a great spot to pull off and get in a short hike to nice visual reward.

Cline Falls is a two-three-story approximate waterfall segmented it into a handful of cascading branches flowing and dropping along Deschutes river near Redmond. We parked at the cline falls state park and hiked leisurely 1.2 miles out and back to see the falls. It's July. We are in a heat wave, my skin is cooking. Stick a fork in me I'm done. In spite of the 90° heat the falls are flowing well but I think in the spring or early summer it would just be overwhelmingly much much more spectacular, as well as cooler. Like I've seen in pictures makes it look like all the waterfalls are interconnected. It's a natural wonder worth seeing. And anytime I've been anywhere on the Deschutes river has been an awe inspiring time. That said, we're headed into Redmond for a cold brew and grub - place with AC!

So accessible and easy! I can't believe this. It is way too easy to get to this beautiful waterfalls. So easy I hesitate to write this review because it'd bring more crowd here lol. Just check out the pictures for the waterfalls. If you think they look great, wait until you see them in person.

Beautiful park and Beautiful little park and perfect for a lazy day of picnic and tubing. Plenty of shade and parking. Clean bathrooms, good for Covid-19 time. We parked in the lot and took the easy mile hike to see the falls. Worth the effort, they are pretty!

The falls were beautiful. Not much parking and no bathrooms at the location. Rock/gravel road to walk down and takes you right to the falls. Another location with anlddtional views of opposite side of falls. The falls did have a terrible event in the 70s and was little eerie knowing that when visiting. Not marked well and hill is steep would be little hard for wheelchairs or strollers.

This spot is on the boarder of the Deschutes and Jefferson counties. This stop is located just 9 miles North of Redmond or 26 miles from Bend on the US Route 97 where this a rest area and viewpoint with tons of parking. Facilities include restrooms, picnic tables and dramatic viewing of the Crooked River Canyon from the pathways or the bridge. For photographers this is an amazing place to get a shot of the Crooked River Canyon and surrounding areas. You can also walk across the historic Crooked River High Bridge just north of the park. Three historic bridges connect both sides of the canyon, unfortunately only one can be crossed today by pedestrians. Two of Oregon's tallest mountains- Mt Hood and Mt Jefferson are visible from the viewpoint on a clear day. Fun facts: the park was named in honor of Peter Skene Ogden who led the trapping parties of the Bay Company back in 1925. Worth a stop to take in the views and enjoy part of history!

Anyways onto the real reason we stopped, we went here at the end of August. Made our way here after Smith Rock which was only about 10-15 minute drive, it was a beautiful sunny day, the view was breathtaking both ways. They had bungee jumping on the bridge when we went so that kinda blocked a bit of the view but was really cool to watch.
