How is this even cool? It looks worst than when I dropped them off.

Hands down the worst shoe repair shop In Philly! Destroyed my $1,000 shoes and it took over a month for me to get them back. Stay far away from here.

Should have taken them to get repaired earlier!

Took two pairs of boots (one tall, one short) to Cliff's for new soles for the heels and a good polish. One of the heels was falling off the black tall boots. Wasn't going to be able to pick them up for a little bit due to work, but they were ready when I wanted them, and everyone in the shop was courteous and professional. It's also not that big a place so you can even stand outside if you are dropping off/picking up and don't want to go in due to COVID. I was very impressed with how good the boots look now! Excellent shine and the heels look brand new. It's now hard to tell how many miles I've walked, especially in the tall ones and some of those in Chicago wintry weather. Excited for all the fall and winter days wearing these boots again!

I was sadly forced to take my favorite sandals in after the toe strap ripped. I spoke with Jerry, he said he had dealt with this issue before and assured me it'd be no problem. The soles of the shoes were a little worn but I wasn't concerned about replacing them. He insisted it was necessary and also insisted on being paid the $71 up front ($70 for the "work" and $1 for the alleged cashapp fee id never encountered before). The price was steep, and almost the price of a new pair of shoes, but I loved these sandals and they don't make them anymore so I bit the bullet. I would have been better off trying to hand sew the strap myself. These shoes look awful. I would be too embarrassed to wear them anywhere. The new sole is not flush with the footbed, there are visible gaps everywhere. The cork footbed also has major cracks that were not there when I dropped them off. The left sandal's toe strap appears to be hanging on by a thread. There are white marks along the side of one of the shoes, the straps are scrapped up along the edges, and there is a nail stuck to the right shoe. I don't understand how anyone could think this was okay. I'm honestly devastated and worse off than I was before I took them in as the main issue was not addressed, the shoes look horrendous, and I'm now out $71 for a job poorly done.

    Horrible shoe repair at Cliff's.

Why aren't "negative" stars an option? I wanted to try and give a small business near my office a boast but sadly, this was just the WRONG choice. I gave them a pair of my daughters Dr. Martens to repair. She had a tear in one of the straps that went across the foot. I realized that with the shoe being patent leather that any sew job would be somewhat obvious. The older gentleman told us that it could be done and he even explained how he would do it. We understood that it wouldn't be pretty but as long as the stitches were neat and sturdy, my daughter and myself would be happy with that. So we paid the 15.00 for the repair. Afterall, they were her favorite Docs, she she wanted to keep them. We dropped her shoes off on Thursday afternoon and was told to pick them up Monday@3pm. When she tried to pick up the shoes at 2:30 on Monday she was told her shoes were not ready and the "older gentleman" was not there. She was told that they would be ready at 4pm. She decided to leave and just come back the next day. When she picked them up the next day and called me, I could already tell that she was upset....in her words "He didn't even try". I didn't realize until later what she meant. It honestly looked like he slapped a patch on the underside of the strap, glued it down, then decided to sew it shut with his eyes closed. The stitches are uneven, jagged. In fact he didn't even close the tear completely, its still open at the end!! It is a completely horrible and slipshod repair. (See photo) Not only were they late with the repair, they were incredibly over priced and did a truly crappy job. I will never, ever, sacrifice a pair of shoes to this "cobbler"

This is how he "repaired" my shoe: by carelessly adding glue.

Terrible service and terrible work. The person took more than two weeks to "repair" my shoes. He originally promised one week, and the he posponed one without contacting me. The results: he only added glue to my shoe as you can see in the photo. When I kindly explained him the situation he told me (rude tone) that I would have to pay him extra for his time despite the fact I already paid 60 dollars. I felt like he was doing me a factor.

Great job on my climbing shoes

I got my climbing shoes fixed today they were very professional and family like at the same time. I hope people with worn out climbing shoes Go and experience my joy of new soles on broken in shoes.. just amazing. And the ordered Vibram soles for me!
