Absolute horrible experience with this company. Our car broke down less than 10 minutes from where their shop is located. We contacted AAA and we're quoted 30 to 45 min. After a hour the update stated they were at our vehicle in another part of town. AAA contacted again and this time the tow stated they were at our vehicle again but we're at the top of the road and never drove down it. AAA contacted a 3rd time and the tow company simply stopped responding to calls. We sat and waited for 3 hours and a tow never came. read more

If I can give this business a negative score I would. Disgusting manners, horrible attitude, nasty business practices. I advice choosing anyone else for auto support (AAA included) than these guys. Yelling at my family and I, refusing for a service you're already getting paid for and just for an all around bad experience. Jason was absolutely horrible. If AAA refers you this company be sure to suggest another. I have never experienced such a horrific encounter in my life. Especially as a paying member. Disgusting. What a horrible experience. Horrible, if you have AAA do NOT allow them to request this company for a tow or service. I don't know why AAA goes through them. I requested a tow twice. Two different days, the first day the tow driver (who was incredibly rude, swearing and yelling at me) stated that he would not tow the car because there isn't anyone near the vehicle. Okay fine, i get it. I come back the next day (45 minute drive from home) drive the car down the road and unfortunately my vehicle shut down again so I request another tow. The same atrociously rude driver comes and starts yelling at me telling me to push my car back to where it was and that hes not towing my vehicle because it's at a "business" (it was parked at a friends home address as he was working on it) swearing at me all the meanwhile. I have never experienced a such rude service especially from a service I'm paying for. Mind you, these people now know my home address and all my information. I don't know why AAA requests this business but if you don't want any issues, I'd advice to request anyone but Jason at Knox/Cliffs Auto Body. read more

Unsuspected flat tire today. My girlfriends mom was kind enough to allow me to use her AAA service to get it towed a couple miles down the road. When he came to tow he not only failed to use the emergency brake when loading my car, was also rude and did not allow me in the truck for his ride along due to policy. So he left me on the road to walk. read more

Absolutely ridiculous... AAA requested them twice and before making me waiting 45 both times they canceled without telling .truck was registered insured with plates . Cliffs and Knox same campy Knox driver was absolutely nasty and ridiculous. He didn't even want to see reg. So he is now you going to pay for tow. Left . Then wrote reported it as transport truck .truck was going to mechanic for ball joints and driveshaft. Custom $24,000 pickup frame off restored. From 7am till 3:45 pm . Went through 5 service calls. Knox came back picked up truck took off 15 mins later dropped it back off at my house and said they had emergency call. To drop truck off and leave . Boss told driver over the radio just drop it we don't need the money. Nice that AAA still contracts these piece crap out and how they treat their customers. Finally cdsl came out took 2-1/2 hrs and 2 more phone calls to triple A . And they came and took it no problem . Registion plate and insured from the first time the driver showed up at 7am . I think they call it Knox now...but I called to see if they towed my car there. He answers the phone, "hi." What business answers like that? I thought I had the wrong number. The people I spoke with were unbelievably rude... and one of them lied to my face. When I got there he said he wasn't the one who so rudely answered the phone, then when I came back after driving another 40 min because they failed to tell me THEY ONLY TAKE CASH, he referenced what he said in our original phone conversation, proving he lied. Immature people somehow running a business. Ironically, when Cliff ran it it was a model for the community. read more

This place is terrible they tow your car there then they tell you they're open till 4:30 but they're closed all hours of the day so the guy can take off and no one's there to get your car so you show up to get it and it says on the door you have to make an appointment. You can't get your car on the weekend unless you pay an extra hundred dollars and even then you have to wait an hour to get it read more

Had my car towed here after an accident. This also doubles as Knox's Towing. first of all, the guy in charge here it is a scumbag. All it takes is a 30 second conversation with him to realize this. Needed to have my car towed to a different collision place the next day and he calls me up angry and in a really disrespectful tone he informed me that the vehicle will not move unless the total is paid for before it moves. I offered to pay for it over the phone and he tells me to just have the collision place write a check. I thought he wasn't going to let it move? (all part of his plan) Anyways,I agree since the second collision place is owned by a friend of mine. I then called AAA to have the car towed from his place to the second collision place. it just so happens that Cliff's auto body is also a AAA service. so this guy tows my vehicle to my buddies collision shop and charges for the AAA tow rather than using the AAA service to pay for it. Now my buddy needs a check from me to pay for that second tow. I know this guy did it on purpose to get the check in his hand. If I had been there I would have noticed what he was doing but he knew the owner wasn't present so he charged. Called AAA and he was reprimanded for this incident. read more
